I came for Killzone footage and i got it, very nice...stupid player.
And very nice how quick and easy it was to join a friends game.

UI looks all right, i was hoping for a more futuristic Minority Report style "next gen" interface with fancy transformation animations etc though. An advantage is obviously less resource hungry system.
Drop-in system looks too seamless to be true. If it can always be that quick, thats a tremendous step forward from PS3 matchmaking.
Regarding Shadow Fall, contrary to still shots, game looks incredible in motion. Something Titanfall could learn a lesson from.

Good question. Looks like it has some kind of a weird frame limiter. As soon as he looked up into the sky the game ran with 60, and back in the action it was limited to 30 (I guess) becasue it suddenly didn't ran so smooth. Anyways, solid 30fps. And it looks beautiful.

Also the PS3 interface looks sleek and nice. Much better than the ONE dashboard.

see THIS is what Microsoft should have done when they first announced the xboxone and talked of having to install games on to the harddrive. If they had just shown the games in a library, shown that you could view what your friends were playing and jump straight into that game because everything was already installed on the harddrive, I think the whole "disc being useless" thing would have been more accepted..especially if they then showed you could play your library on other consoles - meaning you could always swap profiles with a friend and get access to his games till you swap back. Or at least swap games from your library for 30days and not have access to that game for 30days.

Instead they had to focus on tv and let the fears spin out of control

- Sometimes, it's all about "how and what" you present. The game looks cool - I feel like Shu is not a KZ fan for some reason :).

- You are probably right - apply the KISS ( http://bit.ly/sty7R ) methodology to anything you design is never a bad thing

- Wouldn't it be great if all games ran at 720P - 4K UHD resolution@ 60FPS? Scratch that, lets push it, how about 6K UHD @120FPS ... now THAT would be an achievement. The future is always amazing.

Sure it would, but I'm not quite sure what you're getting at. Simply asked because the gameplay clearly is running at a higher clip than 30hz.

the UI looks very boring and choppy

killzone looks good graphically again though, E3 footage looked very average

Hello new member here! I know 60fps when I see it and killzone shadow fall is definitely running it! Very exciting. I pretty sure that is why you hear people cheering immediately when the game came up. I know I would be. :)

The one that's on a platform other than the one he wants to buy.

Looks very immersive and fast, the complete opposite of PS3. Love it

Very well said, a professinal demonstration on Install vs. Disc with speed tests, side by side comparison, transition from off state, drop-in multiplayer etc, leaving bloated PR garbage from the 90s would have made a lot of people at least intrigued. Also, judging from Kinect Sports Rivals after 5 months of uncertainty i can finally see what a compelling device Kinect 2.0 is. Where was they all that time?

What's up?

KORNdog that's my understanding of it anyway based on the little i've read about it. seems like it'll happen though. (4 Hours ago)

KORNdog less risks (not like ubi are particualrly great in that regard anyway) and just barrier for them to do their job. (4 Hours ago)

KORNdog @Moonwalker: it would be a conglomerate and that can be creatively very limiting if they don't fully understand the industry they've just dipped their toe in by buying a major publisher. (4 Hours ago)

Sdarts Also, for the first time in BioWare's history, they are finally using full facial capture to record the actor's performance. Plus its the first time the Mass Effect team is using the Frostbite engine. (4 Hours ago)

Sdarts @nostradamus: BioWare talks Mass Effect Andromeda squadmates, cut content and that missing release date: [url] Read 5th answer. (4 Hours ago)

nostradamus @Moonwalker: well, i'll on a leg and say its a "lie". It seems on par with DA:I, and if they think thats fine for a reveal trailer, then it doesn't bode well for the final product. (4 Hours ago)

nostradamus almost finishing jak and daxter. So much fun. Whay are a pos knack 2 being made, and not a new Jak? (4 Hours ago)
