Love the beta, gunplay is great but that exageration of the shakey cam is just annoying, same goes to the motion blur.

I'm looking forward to GoW3 for the most part, and Far Cry 3 looks pretty damn awesome so far, but claiming that Epic and Crytek are higher quality than some of the studios Sony owns seems completely silly.In this thread, KORN wasn't the one who came in to shit on the game and the studio that makes it for no reason.

I can't say they are weak, because i love first few ratchet & Clank games and Spyro on psx, but man the Resistance franchase should go to hell lol.

Their games are hyped... overhyped they got alot of little employee-cheerleaders trolling the interwebz posting glowing comments on a constant basis, yet when you actually get to play their games... you realize how utter crap they are.

Crysis, Warhead and Crysis 2 all crap design with horrible A.I. that makes even GoldenEye 007 64 A.I./weapons/levels look like its generations ahead.

And Gears, come on, a bunch of overly positive xbox fanperson who do mention the flaws in Gears 1 and 2 yet since they don't have anything else to play (at the time of launch) will talk about it like it was the next coming.

Insomniac Games, make their own games based on whatever creative personality is at the dev, they sure as hell make their own games, but when those paid Anti-Sony employees troll the interwebs calling Resistance FoM a WWII shooter or just crapping all over Resistance 2 or Ratchet and Clank, you know something is just smells bad.

You can try to make decent points, but saying shit like this just invalidates everything you say.

yea Crysis Warhead was made by Crytek Budapest, the same studio is making that Greek/Spartan combat Kinect game for 360.

Crysis 2 on the other hand was a good game with some really bad AI problems.

Anyway this game looks rather good artistically but it seems to be ripping a lot of stuff from Crysis and other FPS games. And that's my main beef with Insonmiac, they are not an original studio. They just rip stuff off from other company's (See their EA game for example, it looks like a bastard child of Team Fortress 2 and a Pixar movie)

And Crysis 2 was buggy too on all 3 platforms.

no FPS, and no company for that matter has the originality in weapon design and mechancs as insomniac, they're all far too focused on making "real" weapons. hell, i dont recall a traditional platformer using third person shooter mechanics before rachet and clank was revealed? you can call them unoriginal, but you'd be wrong in doing so. that isnt an opinion. that's a fact.

I agree, Resistance has that unique weapons that no FPS out there has.

Whatever you say buddy. I loved the first one of these, and they make some other pretty fuckin kick ass games. Maybe not your cup of tea, but saying they are bad at what they do is pretty silly. And also, when was Crysis original looking? It's generic as shit, visually. Beyond the fidelity, and the alien ship sequences, nothing special. And how does this game look anything like a Crytek OR Epic game? It looks nothing like their games.
