The other announcement from Insomniac Games during the press conference of Sony was Resistance 3, scheduled for 2011. Live-action teaser after the jump.
crap trailer, but I really enjoyed resistance 2 mp. Sp was ok but the mp gave me alot of entertainment, was expecting to hate it I mean I found the 1st just very average. Will be interesting the direction they take it and I look forward to seeing more.
Im not a fan of trailers that arent representative of a game...I got that Resistance 3 is coming..guess that will have to be enough...but then again, I already knew that so..I guess this is what a movie would look like!
I found both Resistance games to be pretty poor really. In terms of both single player and MP both games just felt bland compared to other, far better games on the market.
I might rent this but they need something really big to make this series something that can compete with the other AAA shooters out there.
Well it is insomniac making them so one would expect them not to suck, but at least the first one did. It was completely worthless imo. Ugly, boring and bland in every conievable way. When not even co-op can salvage a game you know that it's pretty bad :P
Never palyed Resisance 2 since the first sucked so much, but maybe they will get it right this time. One can hope i guess.
One thing I hated about R2 was the MP assault rifles.
Can someone tell me why the hell did the distance of the bullets of the human AR and the Bullseye become shorter than the SP?
You had to be in a proper medium range for the bullets to reach, it was very annoying. That was in MP though, in SP they had longer distance.
But I liked R2 as a whole, the MP was good IMO, not the best but good enough.
I liked the fact they had splitscreen option to go online, me and my sister always played it online, was fun.
It will be interesting to see how this one turn out, hopefully good.
I do like the concept of older setting with sci-fi twist though :)
hopefully more like FoM, rather then the COD wannabe R2. i enjoyed them both, but the sequel pretty much lost it's identity. too busy trying to jump on the COD bandwagon that has plagued us since COD4
