The concepts are old, shown like around last month, with even higher resolution.

The screens looks cool, but there are alot cooler ones.

The trailer is AWESOME, and hopefully Capcom will release a demo...soon.

I take the blame. You can put me on a table and torture me, or twist my nipples, or both. What happened is the following : I came back from the clubs, tired, and did not want to go to sleep for a mere 3 hours before class. So I said, well there was the Capcom Gamers Day, why not check the website and news. BUT - Manager has the exact same idea! Talk about team chemistry. Minutes later, I stumble upon a DMC4 news, while mine was still awaiting to be validated in the admin because I was uploading the trailer. I shouldn't have deleted his news, but that'll show him! No I'm kidding, I just thought that was how I should act, but this has been sorted out now. And I'm heading to bed soon...after my uni class.

Graphically this game puts Team Ninja's best efforts to shame, but it's too bad they haven't improved the gameplay. I remember in some interview Itagaki saying he played the DMC4 demo and the enemies just stood there waiting for him to kill them. I remember having the same experience with DMC2 and DMC3.

I don't know about that. The engine is the same one used for Dead Rising and Lost Planet. Its good but not exactly amazing.
Personally I can't wait to pick this up on 360 but hopefully they don't try to copy Ninja Gaiden like they did with DMC3 and instead return to its original routes and be its own game.

And how exactly did DMC 3 copy ninja gaiden? Also, dmc 3 was awesome, more of that is more than welcomed. Style switching is already confirmed so they've already refined the system since dmc 3.

I for one liked DMC2 very much.
I liked how acrobatic both Lucia and Dante were, running on walls, how they dodged, how they even got up when beaten...etc.
Even Dantes bad ass "shoot-in-all-direction" style like the movie Equilibrium was awesome.

And I know, Lucia won't come back **** Capcom!

But she is still one of the best female character in these type of games I have seen :D (other one being Lyra from Hellgate London)
Looks good from clothing style, appearence, weapons, "devil" bringer.

Atleast I got a big bad ass Lucia WP on my 360 and desktop :D

That was retained in DMC3 with "Twosome Time," "Fireworks," and "Rainstorm."Yeah, I've got a couple homemade DMC wallpapers on my Triple. The official DMC4 ones (from the Store) just don't do it for me.

DMC4's looking awesome. I laugh a bit when I hear people say the gameplay needs improving. DMC3 was near perfection IMHO.

Ah cool that Dantes style is back with the gunplay.

Whats up with the MP4 /201.56 MB/1280x720p video? It lags behind and the video and sound get out of sync. I dont think it could be my PC thats the issue. AMD64 X2 3800+, 1gig, 7600gt.

Hmm, a bit too busy for XMB, IMO. What I meant by "homemade" is that I just take official wallpaper, artwork, or screenies and run it through Photoshop to make it more amenable to the XMB. I've got one of Francois Balanger's AitD concept renders as my wallpaper now... ya know, with it being Halloween an' all. :)

Ah, well I always crop and resize my wallpapers to fit my desktop and my PS3/360 wallpaper anyway, as long as it is very high-res.

It actually don't look that busy when I use it on XMB...I like it, its Lucia and all :D

they could make the AI more agressive, Itagaki said this and i agree with him, in ninja gaiden all of the enemies can and will try to kill you, in DMC some of the enemies look litterally like puppets, but they also act like puppets, and seem to just be there to be killed, not kill you. I'm looking forward to it reguardless.

@ HvC - yes this game is coming out on PC too.

I think any game in the hands of a skilled player would make the AI look non agressive, NG included.

In NG if you stand in place without attacking, the enemies will still come at you, in DMC, often they will stand in front of you and wait for you to attack them. That is the thing i was pointing out, that could be improved in DMC.
