I will spare some of you the trouble to comment by saying that, yes, these new images of Gran Turismo 5 are from the game's photo mode and that, as such, they look sharper and more perfect than the real thing in motion. Aside from that, it can't be denied that Polyphony really are the best at modeling in-game cars these days. In one word, it looks superb!

They are definately the best at modelling cars, some of the screens really do look photo real, the only thing that gives it away is the reflections, Wow!!

I don't really think they can be truly representative of the gameplay graphics. Looks a lot different from the footage. Forza 3 had it's fair share of bullshots as well, but a lot of them were representative of the gameplay too.

And ok dudes, we know this is just enhanced footage from Photomode/replay so you don't have to keep saying it won't look like this. We know ^_^
GT5 will still look great.

BTW the white Lambo picture is as close to a real like Top Gear camera filter as we can get haha =D

Graphics are nice, hope the real thing isn't too far off from those pics. I'm just far more curious to see how much they improved the gameplay from the prolouge demo. I'm gonna be seriously pissed if we had to wait all this time and we still get bumper car physics. but I think they realize how important it is that they reach a new level this time. God I hate waiting lol...

Being a 100% Xbox follower I have to admit the car models in GT5 do look better than Forza...specifically the reflections...however these I assume are from the photo post processing mode? That aside having owned a ps3 due to curiosity, I never liked the handling and preferred forza...each to their own.

GT5 surely does look best, but (imho) it's not the best sim-like racinggame on the consoles.. For that it needs to improve it's physics, carhandling and other stuff..

Stunning is the word. This slow feed of information is hard to bear (not Gamersyde - brilliant coverage as always), just with the release date being march, every video/image makes it harder and more hyped.

I hope they take the time to implement better audio. I love gt5p, yes it's not perfect but the one thing I value when playing race07, supercar challenge etc is the audio. Supercar challenge has excellent audio, perhaps a little overstretched but still better than the audio I've seen from gt5p.

Either way, this is looking like a quality racing title.
