looks like a coders physics test got turned into a game. although there isn't much info on the actual game part of it. gfx do look sweet though :)

yeah the decals on the car are pretty low res. other than that, the textures ain't bad. looking forward to more news yeah ;)

agreed; those decals need some sprucing up.

look at the pic of the buggy next to the water - they apparently have only 3 tree models to choose from - they repeat right next to ea. other.... hope they at least come up with some more models to help prevent the "wait, I've been here before" syndrome every time you pass a couple of trees and rocks together.

I'm more interested in the massive races, which i hope is in the end version, if i cant have atleast a race of 30 other people, theres not much special about it.

I strongly believe it's more possible to deliver killzone the way it was shown by sony on an xbox360 rather than a ps3. The 360's graphics card technology is made for things like that.

It´s a pitty that the cars leave no ripe impressions on the ground like the vehicles in MotorStorm do. But maybe in the final version they will ?!

Oh I think my translator don´t know the word for a wheel which leaves sporns on surfaces...(not a ripe impression)...but I hope you know what I mean :-)

Of course we'll have games that look like the Killzone video, but that was hardly the point of the Killzone vid outrage. People weren't miffed because a game can't look like that this gen (they most certainly will) but rather that the video itself didn't show a real game running.

I don't think there's doubt in anybody's mind that this generation will produce that quality of visuals. Whether that level of immersion and lifelike interaction with the game will appear anywhere without a shitload of scripting is another matter alltogether though.

Imagine Colin McRae, Rallisport Challenge, Forza, and TOCA for the 360. Hopefully some of these titles will make their way to market in the next year. Proven titles on the original Xbox. I hope this one does well too. Also I hope to see more screens soon of Test Drive Unlimited. Isn't Test Drive Unlimited due out this Spring?

IMO the motor storm vid was unbelievable. All real time and great atmosphere and immersion. I own a 360 and love it, but games like this do not compare to what sony is promising.Wish that were true. But this game is not showing the potential of the 360 at all. Looks a tad bland to me. Think they should copy the in car view, the craziness, and atmosphere of motorstorm if they are to stand any chance.

Hopefully the physics engine is good, graphically I can live with those graphics, not the best, but very decent :D
