Gravity rush gets a June release

Gravity rush gets a June release

Gravity Rush was really the only big title to have missed the North American and European launches of the Playstation Vita. Thankfully, Sony has finally announced that the game will be available on June 12 in North America and June 13 in Europe. Needless to say we are all very impatient here.
Update: Good news, Europe will also get a Game Card release.

Awsome, although I was expecting May, hope they do a physical cart release for the UK/EU.

Well that's just win =) looking forward to this title, an open world city game where buildings ain't just textured boxes on a handheld? With a pretty art style to boot? If this game doesn't sell a few vitas no game will (bar cod =(...)

About the game

What's up?

KORNdog so it retained the photorealism of filmed footage, but you could still lean in and around and everything would shift with perspective. (48 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @KORNdog: I saw a few recent 360 cameras being advertised as VR cameras and they're 2D. I think 360 video is pretty cool in general though. (49 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog sony did quite a cool thing with a violin solo guy where they filmed it all with 3D cameras. but then converted all the elements into a 3D scene running in unity. (49 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I can kinda imagine VR in something like Battlefield being pretty incredible too but I'm not sure how well that would work with most people's stomachs. (50 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @GriftGFX: yeah, i can't say i've seen any though. even the stuff on youtube is stereoscopic. it just requires a fixed head position. no leaning forward etc. (50 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog it can even stay third person, seeing as bound and the playroom VR platformer work really well. apparently FROM are making something for VR now though. i'm hoping for a new kings field. (52 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Getting annoyed at people marketing 2D 360 video as "VR" though.. that's not good enough. It's cool, but it's not good enough. (53 minutes ago)
