I know this is GTR, and I know this is a PC racing game........but damn that looks ugly. PC racing games always look so damn stale, when they should look mindblowing. What I see on those shots is laughable.

Considering this will look better than any console-game - what are you talking about? I love FM4 and GT5 (my favorite simulator) but none of them can compare to a PC-simulator in graphics.
I don't find the PC racing sims all that impressive in graphics. I do seem the holding a much better frame rate, but the over all graphics I find flat and boring.

I think its looking great! Considering awesome physics its gonna be a blast! I dont think my PC will run it smoothly and I love my GT5, but I must say it looks great. Never played any GTR, but one of the most importatnt factors in sims for me, is the sound. So we will see.
The sound in the GTR is a whole orchestra roaring, whistling, grinding, and from which, I confess, I just get multiple orgasms. If you know what I mean. And physics in which I believe just as in real life. In short, if there is a wheel with pedals and a large monitor, this game will get any fan of simulators great pleasure.

PC race sims are a niche market so it's impossible for devs to spend 5 or 6 years on them spending millions upon millions like GT5 as the returns wouldnt be there.

Just because its on PC its not a garauntee it'll look better the consoles but we'll see
With BF3 and Crysis im expecting alot graphically from an exclusive racing game
