Those weaponry-trailers are the worst trailers that happened to Halo since Halo. (Especially with whatever music smacked on them)

I am totally not looking forward to the probably upcoming Forerunner-Weaponry trailer, although I can not wait for the game itself.

Can you explain why?

Because we already know the weapons; the editing is terrible and random; that sort of music has NOTHING to with Halo (or better put: had nothing to do with Halo until those trailers).

P.S. I want to hear the weapon sounds not any (no matter what) sort of music.

Check the Xbox site later for the Trailer version with just the weapon sounds, not a fan of the wub wub either. Still it looks fracking awesome :)

Sounds like the old trailers for Starbreeze's game Syndicate.

These weapons trailers have indeed been fail. Dubstep? Really? I mean, it suited the Syndicate trailers, but this is Halo 4. It should have Halo 4 music (which judging from available samples is quite good).

I agree with the music. But the actual gameplay footage, a short demonstration of each weapon, was totally ok IMO.

is the music, don't flame me cos maybe it isn't, from the Halo 4 "official remix" soundtrack.. some bits sound like they could be, although I only heard what they gave samples of on the official site. I agree that it's not Halo campaign style music (which I've always loved) but WubWub music is better than Euro Hardcore BangBangBangBangBangBangBang....imo ;)

Like most of the ideas for the game, 343 borrows ideas for their trailers too.

@Masa: all devs borrow ideas of each other as did Bungie.

Yeah they should have just left the music out. Those sound effects are substantially better than the route they went.
Although I don't know how much I need a narrator describing all my kills to me. Guess I'm glad I don't have to hear a metal guitar riff after every kill though

Choices like this continue to make you question their taste.
Halo is a brand that Bungie carefully crafted and marketed since its inception

PS- new elite symbol looks pretty shite, and purple lines don't make things look any cooler

They really TRON'd this thing up.. but I think neon does make shit look cooler.

  • Tinks
Tinks during the 64 era Nintendo at least had Rare in their prime, but it was the start of real painful gaps in content. (1 Hour ago)
  • Tinks
Tinks if you skipped the 64, Gamecube and Wii you may not feel their software issues the same as others. From what they've shown so far they've done little to correct their previous console issues. (1 Hour ago)
