At least artistically MS has let 343 run loose and just do what they want! Simply stunning visual design!

Don't know if I like the robot dogs. Somehow I always like shooting at humanoid things better.

I love shooting organic enemies, much more satistfying shooting on flesh and blood coming out.
Shooting at metallic enemies suck, various games proved this like Mass Effect, Vanquish, Crysis 2...etc.

I am just happy they went with 720p native resolution a first for Halo and the visuals are great.

waaaaaaaaaay too much rocks in the missions. So far the jungle is the only real exciting environment.

Almost every scene they the video showed had no plants (except for some grass here and there). Yes, the Lighting and the actual panorama looks unbelieveable awesome but I don't like the fact that most environemnts are just dead canyons. Day or night doesn't make it look different, 343i = P

Seems like 343i only knows the Sahara. lol. A game like Read Dead Redemption can show how nature life can look in a desert like environment.

Forerunners are awesome, btw

Guess you have not been keeping up with the videos as there have been many more enviroments than just the dessert and jungle, in fact i have not seen so many different locals in a Halo game to date, and we have yet to see them all yet.

So are the forerunner weapons in MP just going to be worse waiting for them to assemble? Or are those left out
Commented on 2012-09-13 19:11:13
If you watch the MP vids you will see that the Forerunner gun animations are quick enough not to effect any of the MP players equipping them (if you already have it equipped in your loadout or you have already picked it up and holstered it, i dont think it animates again when selected??).

Man SP looks so bloody EPIC!!, i really cant wait any longer.

Didn't they imply in the animated Halo film that the Forerunners were humanoid? this look is ok for a videogame but it kind of looks lame if they are screwing up the already known history.

They have human skulls inside, maybe they'll explain that

The Forerunners before their first mutation actually look a lot like humans, albeit much larger( according to the books).

That being said, these aren't actual Forerunners. I'm assuming they are based off of one of the many species they Collected/ruled over...

About the game

What's up?
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @crookedmind: that's an over generalization if ever i saw one. SOME games are based on lootcrates, that's about the extent of it. (15 minutes ago)

droezelke @KORNdog: Grift just doesn't want to admit it, because his orgasm game is based on lootcrates. (2 Hours ago)
  • Nietzsche
Nietzsche What bothers me most is it truly is creating gambling habits in small kids that also play these games (10 Hours ago)
  • Nietzsche
Nietzsche @KORNdog: exactly, it’s nothing short of predatory. It’s literally using reasearch about the chemical reactions of the human brain to get people to spend more money than they want to (10 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog They want you spending hundreds amassing a room full of dollar store garbage while you search out a t-shirt that actually looks like it wasnt designed by a monkey, (10 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog I don't like lootcrate/nerd block for the same reasons. Yes you MIGHT get something cool, but that glimmer of hope is exactly what those companies are exploiting. (10 Hours ago)
