Halo: Spartan Assault hitting Xbox One

Released for PC back in July, the top-down shooter Halo: Spartan Assault is making its way onto both Microsoft's home consoles. The digital title will be available to download this December and multiplayer between Xbox One and Xbox 360 is not supported. Console screens and trailer after the jump.

I'm actually happy about this. It says it was on PC, but I don't remember a PC version. I do remember it being touted on Surfaces and Windows Phone, neither of which I have.

Getting a fun top-down run & gun with some Halo flavor could be cool... as long as the price is right.

It is out on PC, though they could have specified it better. Currently you can get it for Windows8/RT and Windows Phone through the Windows Store, MS will be adding 2 more platforms with The One and 360. The game is very good to kill time while you're on the go. Its authentic Halo all the way with guns, sounds, vehicles, music... but from top down arcade style. Will be even better now that they're adding online co-op to it.
