Harold new trailer and screens

Harold new trailer and screens

It's been a long while since last we heard abour Harold, the promising platformer racing title from indie dev Moon Spider. So it's with pleasure that we share this new trailer and screens. If you never heard about it, you can read our preview from late 2012, the video sums up pretty well what awaits you. In this game, players are tasked, as a guardian-angel-in-training, with guiding the title character who clearly lacks skills through 12 races filled with obstacles and humor. It will be out this Fall on PC.

There are many platforming games that I love, Rayman is one of them. I think, playing this game I would feel frustrated that I have to control the environment and can't simply control the "runner" directly. I know that's the point of this kind of game, but I'm not sure if this mechanic suits my idea of fun very well. I might try a demo to see if it does.

Game looks awesome. Will definitely get my hands on it. Wish it would come out for tablets and phones to. I swear it looks like it's made for it. Good stuff either way.

Definitely looks like its built for tablets. I love the artwork and animation, but it doesn't sound like my type of game.

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @KORNdog: Still very different. More like Diablo but the "game feel" is not as polished. Systems are more well designed, but I have to give it to Diablo when it comes to fit and finish. (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @GriftGFX: like divinity? Better or worse? Might be one i dust off the xbox for. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX The economy is unique and will probably seem strange to new players.. but every system is cleverly tied together in PoE. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX And yes.. the passive skill tree is pretty insane. It has a healthy mix of rigid decision making in its passive tree and flexibility in the active skill system. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Path of Exile is an endlessly playable action RPG and Pillars of Eternity is a turn-based single player game w/ a party system. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX No they are not.. they are both RPGs and they both have isometric cameras but that's where the similarities end. (1 Hour ago)
  • Tiz
Tiz I always confuse the PoE abbreviation with Pillars of Eternity. Are they even the same type of game? (1 Hour ago)
