Hitman Absolution: E3 Demo

Hitman Absolution: E3 Demo

Here it is. Square Enix has released the full 'The Streets of Hope' E3 demo of Hitman: Absolution. Commented by Tore Blystad and Travis Barbour, it shows a mission where Agent 47 have to kidnap Lenny "the limp" Dexter. Enjoy.

Liked everything i saw aside from the xray vision and the conviction style "kill everyone" button. I dont intend to use either, i just hope the game doesnt punish you for not wanting to use it. Conviction did, hence why i hated it.

Well.. you are punished... it's harder.

I'll certainly be using those functions as I work up to playing the "Purist" difficulty.

Harder is fine. But conviction was DESIGNED for use of mark and execute. Where it funneled you into confrontation. Sure you could ignore the mechanic, but you'd have to break the way the game was designed to do so. I don't want a single instance of that in this game. I want to set it to hard, and do things my way...the old way...the better way.

Yeah, like in the first Splinter Cell where the only one person you have to kill is Nikoladze and you can leave everyone else alive. Non-lethal gameplay in that game was hard but fun, surely not punishing.

My god, they've done it. I was convinced by their Chinatown walkthrough, but with all the disguises, open levels, and traps here I'm sold!

I think the game looks quite impressive - and I don't know if it's a testament to that, but I think I would actually enjoy watching someone skillfull play this at twitch.tv more than playing it myself. :-)
