Hitman Absolution: E3 Demo

Hitman Absolution: E3 Demo

Here it is. Square Enix has released the full 'The Streets of Hope' E3 demo of Hitman: Absolution. Commented by Tore Blystad and Travis Barbour, it shows a mission where Agent 47 have to kidnap Lenny "the limp" Dexter. Enjoy.

Liked everything i saw aside from the xray vision and the conviction style "kill everyone" button. I dont intend to use either, i just hope the game doesnt punish you for not wanting to use it. Conviction did, hence why i hated it.

Well.. you are punished... it's harder.

I'll certainly be using those functions as I work up to playing the "Purist" difficulty.

Harder is fine. But conviction was DESIGNED for use of mark and execute. Where it funneled you into confrontation. Sure you could ignore the mechanic, but you'd have to break the way the game was designed to do so. I don't want a single instance of that in this game. I want to set it to hard, and do things my way...the old way...the better way.

Yeah, like in the first Splinter Cell where the only one person you have to kill is Nikoladze and you can leave everyone else alive. Non-lethal gameplay in that game was hard but fun, surely not punishing.

My god, they've done it. I was convinced by their Chinatown walkthrough, but with all the disguises, open levels, and traps here I'm sold!

I thought at the E3 will be shown newspaper cuttings ...

I think the game looks quite impressive - and I don't know if it's a testament to that, but I think I would actually enjoy watching someone skillfull play this at twitch.tv more than playing it myself. :-)

About the game

What's up?
  • Melmoth
Melmoth certainly had it's wtf moments. like in the end when Ronaldo got interrupted by some spectator running onto the field as he was about to shoot. (2 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth as someone who didn't really have much invested in either of the teams, i was only hoping for a good and entertaining match. it had tension and never felt boring, so i can't complain. (2 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite If I'm disappointed in anything the Liverpool players did, is that they didn't chin that horrible bastard Ramos. (2 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite I hope Karius manages to somehow mend himself, but unfortunately, if you want to kick on and improve as a team, you can't have a liability, which he now surely is. (2 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite I mean, it wasn't one bad mistake, it was two absolutely ridiculous schoolboy ones. It's been a big problem for Liverpool for too many years now. Undoes all the good work. (2 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite Yeah, its normal, but this was a final of all finals. Only one bigger and thats the world cup. For Karuis, that was probably one howler too far for his team mates. (2 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @MrWhite: it's normal in sports that teammates protect/comfort the guys making the big mistakes. see it all the time in penalty shotouts and such. (2 Hours ago)
