Hotline Miami 2 first screens

Dennaton Games will make you dive into the haze of neon and carnage as Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number has been formally revealed. It is coming later this year for PC, Mac and Linux. Teaser and first screens inside.

We’re Sorry, but You Have Reached a Number That Has Been Disconnected or is No Longer in Service
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number Announced

Become irreversibly entangled in violence as reality dissolves into a haze of neon and carnage

You’re a murderer. You murder people. Again. And again. How certain you are of your actions and what is, and what is not, real is what you must determine in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, due out later this year from developer Dennaton Games and publisher Devolver Digital. The epic finale to 2012’s blood-soaked hit follows an escalating level of violence through multiple factions born from the events of the original game -- all within the confines of blistering combat, the unmistakable visual style, and another powerful and intense soundtrack that pushes you to the limit and forces you to question your own thirst for blood.

Will buy... in a humble bundle. deal with it. (not worth it for 3 hour game.)
but.. wasn't the original only like €10? There's also a bit more to games than how long they take.

Yeah I don't understand people that use that metric to value games.

It's like judging your restaurant meal by how much food is on your plate.

You shouldn't eat food with your eyes guys.

yet people instagram the shit of their food. thaings are what they are. things cost money. run out fast? must be cheaper.

And not to also add that this will be the DEFINITION of expansion pack. Same visuals. Same level-design. same gameplay. same (mostly) "no story". Just the same addiction to fast-kill gameplay and new soundtrack. Enough for some b/c they love that few "more of the same" high points, but it is what it is.

that this will be the DEFINITION of expansion pack. Same visuals.
Well apparently it was originally planned as an expansion but it became big enough(supposedly bigger than the original) to be a sequel.

I don't really get why it would the "DEFINITION of expansion pack" though. I mean, of course it has the same visuals & gameplay... it's a sequel.

An expansion pack would just be a little episode or extended epilogue.

About the game

What's up?
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @Sdarts: Yup. Oh and I can't forget to mention how dark it is, and that story, real nice. The dynamic between Jackman and Stewart was superb too. (6 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @Moonwalker: I'm glad you enjoyed it. And yes, Wolverine in the comics was always bloody, savage and ruthless. Something the previous movies never did, probably to stay PG-13 - suitable for teens. (7 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @digi_matrix: Looking very forward to it. But no spoilers please. Now I know I will most likely cry at the end. (Which is never a bad thing.) (7 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @droezelke: No problem, in games like Edith Finch what's most important is story, characters and world settings. It's like movies or a very short TV show/mini series, gameplay isn't as important. (7 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker Oh and I loved the violence, yep. I never liked how there was barely any blood in the previous films, impossible when you have someone like Wolverine cleaning house. This is how it's done. (7 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker And I'm so glad I watched the previous X-men movies first, specifically the two Wolverine movies, otherwise some things wouldn't have made sense (7 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker Logan was absolutely fantastic. In terms of acting, emotion, character development it's in a different league than the other X-men movies. Fucking loved it. And man, Jackman is a boss! (7 Hours ago)
