Ubisoft released the first official images of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. I can smell photoshop a mile away, and it doesn't look that different of GRAW 1, but we're still curious to see all these new effects moving in real-time.

I've been hearing this a lot, like it's a bad thing. Is this a bad thing? If GRAW 2 look marginally better than GRAW, I think that's a pretty good place to start. Has everyone forgot how great GRAW looks? It's still (imo) in the top 10, as far as 360 releases go.
If they tweak the gameplay a bit, make the multiplayer experience unified with the single player experience, and do online co-op throug the single player campaign, they'll have a real hit on their hands. That's all it takes (again, imo) for this to become the best current Clancy franchise.
Better AI, better co-op, better multiplayer, no more lone-wolf missions, and they've got a winner. That's *all* they have to do ;)
i think it will look better than graw1 in motion....it looks just as good in these screens, but they say that they will have much more destructable environments, and a full day night cycle, which would be awesome to see when actually playing the game....there could be some cool missions as well, like infiltrate the building before the sun come up and stuff.
One thing that would really set this game apart is if it included civilians. i know that would be hard to do, but it would make the game so much more immersive if everywhere you went you saw civilians running into their home, looking out of windows and other much more exciting things that i can't think of haha

That's a fine suggestion, I was actually talking to a friend about this last night. Fighting in a populated city would be pretty tense.

Yep its more like an expansion pack to GRAW than it is GRAW2.
Plus, "for pc and 360" always means the engine is not tuned for consoles but relies on people upgrading their PC's to make it run properly, and so the console version runs like poo (as did original graw for the most part).

Hence Graw 2... if it was a totally new game it would bear a new name... remember the tag 'advanced warfighter' is the sub-name, like Island Thunder etc.
