Images and teaser of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

2K Games unveils a big bunch of images as well as a teaser trailer for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, planned to be released on new-gen systems the 15th of June. About the video itself, we don't know if it's a CGI cinematic or if it's using the game engine, but it looks a lot like something that could be done realtime. Time will tell...

You know a game is gonna be good when the trailer appears to be made in Poser!

Those images are real-time, and not in that impressive to me. The trailer seems to be using the same assets, but it's all been blurred out to prevent the aliasing from showing.

And what a crappy voice at the end, he sounds desperate for the loo.

The comic is epic but the marvel games are just dreadful

Boourns.

So it's basically going to be an extremely watered-down version of Marvel Ultimate Alliance...only based on what will probably be a terrible movie (even though the trailers make it look much better than the first one which was absolutely terrible)? I think I'll pass.

i dont recall "the thing" ever being made out of plastic? the last game was horrible, me and my mate tried playing it in co-op, we turned it off after about 3 minutes.

About the game

GriftGFX FFA deathmatch is pretty fun in OW even though it's totally not balanced. Great Tracer practice. (4 Hours ago)

KORNdog The Orville episode 3 was amazing. Very heavy topic but handled it extremely well. (4 Hours ago)

GriftGFX I wasn't really setting up any specific comparison at all. I said modern phones and many PCs. That's pretty vague. You can set whatever limits on that you want. (6 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Granted.. synthetic benchmarks are just that.. but in Geekbench 4 a Snapdragon 835 can outperform a Q9550.. which is definitely faster than the E6600. (6 Hours ago)

GriftGFX My personal history of personal computing goes back to 8-bit computers. I think 2017 ARM CPUs are amazing. (6 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @droezelke: I said E6600.. and its single core performance in synthetic benchmarks is certainly comparable. But yes. You can go back to the 80s. I didn't say anything about them being modern. (6 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @GriftGFX: no, a snapdragon 835 does not have computing power of a Q6600 (9 years old). Do you really want to go further in time to prove your statement made sense? (6 Hours ago)
