Finally some more media for Guitar Hero 2. This is one of my most anticipated games for the 360 right now so anything new makes me happy. I've been forcing myself not to buy the PS2 version, so this better not disappoint!
I've only ever played GH for a few minutes and can not comprehend how this could worthwhile enough to actually buy. Does it get more fun the more you play or something?

Well you have to like music... It's rewarding in the same way learning to play guitar is although on a smaller scale. Also, it's a great party game.
not for me but i know how much many people want this to be good,hope you all like the end result,the msic is not my genre to get into this game im afraid

Its a lot more fun when you play it with friends. I came across a demo stand on a Best Buy with a friend and we couldnt stop playing after we picked the guitars up. I kicked her ass though ^_^.
This is seriously a game that cant be matched on replay value.
Got Guitar Hero 1 and 2 to the PS2 and I just love this game. Have completed almost every song on Expert setting but that won't stop me from buying it to the 360. A lot more songs (like 1+2 together I've heard) plus the awesome power of downloading new songs from the Marketplace!
Hey, this could be fun for my nephews, i can see them already rocking and playing in front of the tv (ps. is the guitar included or sold separetly)
I how ever would not buy it for my self.
Ps. i think the graphics are sh*ty, i mean look at the flames and star power!? there are xbl games that really try harder and do beter. I geuss this game is just about gameplay/fun and music/sound....
Give me a pal release of project sylpheed ;) or Idolmaster <= that one has it all including the graphics
Looks cool, there's not really much in this genre to go around lately, so this should help fill the gap. I dig rhythm games, I might have to pick this up..it is expensive, but I'm a sucker for a custom controller anyway. Shame it's not wireless.
The graphics aren't great, but considering it's a PS2 port, I wasn't expecting much anyway. Looks good enough for me.

I'm also hesitating to get it for the PS2 since I'd like to get it for the 360 for the achievements. At least, I have something to show when I beat the whole game in its hard mode!
The game will come bundled with the guitar so no worry about your nephew there andre112 ;)
And about the graphics, it ain't that good but not that bad either compaired to the PS2. But then again the graphics is not the big factor in this game, the music / combination is. That's what rythm games are all about, the music and moves you have to do on the mat/guitar/drum/whatever :)
As I said in my previous post, got both games to the PS2 plus two guitars but that won't stop me from getting it to the 360 just because it's rumoured that both Guitar Hero 1 and 2 will be on the 360 version. And not to speak of the ability of downloading packs of new songs, that's like omgwtfbbqit-nice! :) Read somewhere that the Halo theme might be on that list in the future \o/
