Atari steams up the marketing machine around Alone In The Dark and releases four screenshots that look like artworks thanks to some gross photoshop tuning.

Yeah, but PhotoShop has done nice work on those screens imo.
However, when the final game has that athmosphere when finished... WOW.
the guys face is so bad....lol. its like the complete opposite of darksectors pretty boy. and instead we get an old worried looking guy...game looks good tho. good so see human-esque enemies in pic 2. thought we'd be killing these "the thing" rip off's through the whole game.

I'm trying to figure if the fire in pic 3 is photoshopped alot or just a bit... I eman its not that hard to do a decent fire ball effect. But hey, its what's to be expected.
Noooo...I want another developer video demo, not images. Those demo vids are so awesome to just watch, I can only imagine how amazing the game will be. Provided the execution is done well.

I can imagine the things you can do getting very linear an hour or so into the game.
