Xbox 360 PS3

Horror and sci-fi videogame Dead Space tries to scare us with these new images. The main character, Isaac Clarke, will explore a spaceship where he will fight creatures called Necromorph. The game will launch in 2008 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

i like the helmet. got some "big-daddy-esk" look & feel to it. ^^ game looks pretty cool. really like the atmosphere.

looks pretty good, i like the art style, has a bit of a dark ages, medievil look to the armour, despite it being a sci-fi shooter. gotta say tho, necromorph...possibly the most unoriginal and uninspired name ever.

Could be the way the screenshots are taken, but it looks awesome

I mean, these are screens probably taken from the actual game itself rather than pre-renders.. I can see in motion it should look stunning

I have the same question as jollipop whether it will be a FPS, i think it would loose out on the visual look it has right now if it isn't a 3rd person perspective game

I don't think this will be a FPS. Instead, it's has Resident Evil in space intentions. The helmet does come a bit as a 'Master Chief did it, so can we' attempt but overall it's what gives this game its uniqueness.

If its got anything on the camera style that Resident Evil 4 & 5 have then I would welcome this with open arms. Worked well on GoW, Resi 4, clearly works on Resi 5 so its a nice view i think :)

Looks pretty common if you ask me ...
generic amrored hero, dark place grotesque monsters, lots of blood and there you go, a nice modern fps.

maybe it's just me that's bored with the genre ...
