Images of Harry Potter 5

We've been offered a short featurette of the next Harry Potter by Electronic Arts. "How kind of them !", you could think. Except the file is absolutely atrocious, and I'm not exaggerating. So, in order to protect you from dangerous eyesights, we've decided to give you screenshots instead. And away from all this marketing insanity, the game looks good !

the game looks surprisingly good for not only a movie licensed game, but a movie licensed game from EA. doubt i'll get it. i enjoy watching the movies, but playing the games doesnt interest me much. the likenesses are pretty good though, except for Ron Weasley. his face seems wrong. although that coud be a perfect likeness since i havnt seen the last film they made. so he could just be a wierd looking guy in real life.

I gues theyre putting a little more effort in it, about time to....they always had great licenses and never did anything great with it.

About the game

What's up?
  • MrWhite
MrWhite that's a pretty big deal, as its probably the biggest stumbling block for the tech. (42 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite Stuff like inside out tracking and eye tracking, as well as motion sickness solutions should be in place. We've already got a product in development that claims to have eradicated that already (42 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite The potential of it is massive. More so than what traditional gaming now is. Second gen is going to be very interesting. (44 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite We're sort of being spoon fed bit sized "experiences" that either work or don't. I suppose that's part of the freshness of it, though. I just wish some big devs would get more involved. (45 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite @KORNdog: Ironically, though, the VR scene is also playing it safe. Too safe. There's not enough big risk titles like RE7. (46 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I can't really wrap my head around being dismissive of indie games. That's a pretty broad label. (3 Hours ago)
  • nostradamus
nostradamus put and end to corridor/cinematic/c utscene/qte/playforyousoyouwon'tmissathi ousoyouwon'tmissathing ng experiences, and start to see more games like Prey/BotW and the sort. Nuts&Bolts is an awesome game, as well. We need N&B2 (5 Hours ago)
