Images of Kane & Lynch

Images of Kane & Lynch

We dive back in the Kane & Lynch: Dead Men universe with these new images of the multiplayer online mode for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Not really inspiring, we could say it's a copy of Counter-Strike. Only here, terrorists have business casual clothes!

looking SWEET, the idea is quite original for a change, not deathmatch for the millionth time.

graphics are a little meh-tastic but it doesnt bother me much. next to assassins creed and mass effect, this is my most wanted title this year. story's gonna be awesome. and its co-op, double w00t

yeah co-op is in (not sure if its online?). and if your lynch you actually have psychotic "episodes" where you see civilians as enemies so you dont know who's friend or foe. another cool original feature.

Gfx look ****. But I guess it'll be worth a rent since the plot is very original and the thematic very appealing.

Co-Op is confirmed to be offline only.

And the other feature were Lynch gets those episodes were he can't tell who is a friend and who is a enemy, it reminds me of...Haze.

In Haze if you take too much Nectar it does exactly the samething.
Not completely original, but the concept of HOW it gets done is clever.

i belive haze was announced and shown AFTER kane and lynch. either way its more original then the usual co-op where your both muscle bound hero's with the exact same skills, strengths and weaknesses (gears of war/ halo)

i like my games to have character, and this game oozes it. a lot of other games, dont.

Not much here, when i first heard about the game i thought its killer but it seems like it going to be average.

Well I don't know who came first but I know that once people get familiar with it, its not gonna look very original, but who knows, maybe the Haze guys didn't show it but had it in concept, which they had.

And I agree, I HATE buffed up/enhanced soldiers auch as Gears of War guys or or these reality based but still buffed up.

I wish all these kind of games had the same quality as Solid Snake.
Normal porportion body, great character concept, nothing "powered" with that guy.

Looks average. Too many games coming out to give this a look in. Perhaps wait until a quieter period of releases next year and give it a rent then.

I'm looking at these screens thinking they probably should have released a video instead.

You are joking, right. He looks like an old fart on a needle.

Interesting , so at the end of job like near the extraction point , u just open fire at you're budies and kill all of them :) or something like that :D

well from what i read, its from a gamemode where the team starts out with 8 players in front of a bank and have to kill NPC's. once a player dies he turns into a cop and gets to fight his fellow players. u can also betray your teamates to get the loot. or kill them before u escape so u dont have to split the money. i read this from IGN. even though it doesnt look that great, the game-mode sounds pretty awesome.

I can say this, he is much more of an realistic bad ass than enchanced man in a green turtle suit that helps him "finish the fight".

All Snake is using is his knowledge of tactical approach and his combat skills.

Unfortunately this game seems to be only about shooting :( not like a Hitman with "hide and attack" style ;)

its not even about the proportions of the body or whether they look normal, its simply that kane and lynch are not nice guys. its rare you get to play as the bad guys and thats one of the many reason i love the look of this game. but also these are really flawed characters. not in a game making sense, in that they're scum, murderers...they are not the usual godly, save the human race super heros like in halo/gears of war. they have dark pasts and their futures are bleak. even the way they look screams character. the bald spot on kane or the receeding hairline of lynch. these are not typical video game guys. especially not the ones you control

Korn I was talking about their looks and body porportions.

I don't care if they are good or bad guys, I just don't like the steroids body type, and I am actually glad that in Kane & Lynch they look like normal guys, but in this game Kane and Lynch has mental problems.

I agree with what you said anyways, because we are pretty much saying the same thing but in a different way.

Visually it's like a PC game from 5 years ago.

But I don't care -- I'll be buying this for the local co-op and even more so the interesting online mode.

Can't wait.

Tiz Anyway, it's early days. The next time we hear about Halo after Halo Wars 2 will be E3, and it will either be H3: Anniversary or a Halo 6 trailer and my money is on H3: A. (59 minutes ago)

Tiz @amerakindesi: I liked 4's campaign as well, 5 was a massive misstep and while Joe isn't necessary for the H5 campaign to be good, I think he is necessary for it to be epic. (1 Hour ago)

Tiz There are a couple of videos of him flitting about the 343 offices and talking about Halo memorabilia and while it isn't confirmed, I'd be surprised if he isn't on H6. (1 Hour ago)

Tiz @amerakindesi: Staten along with Marty O'Donnell was a key figure at Bungie and is now Senior Creative Director at Microsoft, he joined too late to influence Halo 5, but just in time to start Halo 6. (1 Hour ago)
