Images of MySims

Character management is again at work with MySims for the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS systems. I would have thought that with all these entries in the main series, The Sims, players would have had enough in their plate for centuries to come, but it seems I was wrong. MySims adopts a colorful approach, childish, with a ton of options - create your town, your character, its accessories, its furniture, and much more. This title will be available September the 21st 2007 in Europe.

Saw that this game got some low reviews. :( I was really hoping this game would be fun.

it sure looks neat, though.

The videos I saw from before E3 of the game looked really bad (bad gameplay). I don't know why they couldn't just have had Sims 2-like gameplay. I kind of like the art design (cute but not in a bad way).

looks very very gay!

gay as in: having or showing a merry, lively mood

Does the ice cream cone in the second picture look odd to anyone else? :o

Depends where you're looking for reviews. Some gave it high, others gave it low. It's just one of those you'll have to pick up and play for yourself (like most games).

Just picked the game up. It's actually quite fun.

About the game

What's up?
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: Speaking of Spiders, I finished Technomancer yesterday. Fun game but dragged down by WAY too much backtracking and lack of different locations. (17 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: I'm not far enough into the game yet but I heard the game world is very interesting and full of great quests with multiple choices. Those kinda things sound great to me. (17 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog i honestly think they'd do better making something on a smaller scale. like an isometric action RPG. that spiders (developer) could do with going that direction too. (18 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: it just looks like a typical game from them to me. like they bit off more than they can chew and the results are just mediocrity across the board. (18 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: the facial animations are bullshit yes, animations in general are passable, combat isn't nearly as bad as I expected though. The world so far has been great, very very nice indeed. (18 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: it still looks all kinda of garbage though. lol (18 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker tearing was horrible, not to mention loading times. Plus it really doesn't look too bad either. Trees and foliage swaying in the wind, nice lighting. Good job PB. course all the jank is still there :) (18 Hours ago)
