Or is it actually developed after the game was finished?
By the way there isn't any content available to european players yet, right (sucks)?
The DLC stuff is developed after the game was finished.
Anyways i gave Oblivion back last week, spent 150 hours on it, not bad value for money, would've probably kept it had they bought out the patch sooner.
they beter release all DLC for europe soon. I've been looking forward for the DLC but so far i didnt get anything. retarded ppl at take2, there are a lot of ppl willing to buy these addons so why not release it for everyone?
i'm sad,... i just got home and i don't see it in the US marketplace
Not really, the horse armour was finished before the game came out, dunno about the others.

On another note, Blim, have you ever been to St. Maarten? I was just wondering because I just got back from there and I really enjoyed it.
was playing a good guy ;)
and now just started with the bad girl eeheheheeeee
One more thing: These new DLC packs are being released after every 2 weeks or so. There's NO way they can finish making them so fast. In conclusion, they're more like unlock keys just like the ones you see for Ridge Racer 6. This was definitely their plan to squeeze more money out of gamers.
Now I think all these secrets are invisible in game right now, the 2 MB file just makes them visible so you can enter. I have nothing against it though. I bought all of them and will continue to purchase since I love this game.
You people are wrong. These new DLC packs are taking only 2 MBs on HDD. What makes you think they're THAT short? Now a good example is Halo 2 maps. Since they were made after the game was released, they take over 400 MBs on HDD. Same goes for Splinter Cell and other games.

In addition, a multiplayer map for games like Halo and Splinter Cell use all-new assets. For a game like Oblivion, all they need to include is a general layout of the new area and pull from existing resources (eg: generic cave wall, generic wooden door, computer generated grass and trees, etc). They dont reinvent the wheel on these things.
The one new thing they might have is new weapon designs (possibly), and new voice work. However, voice files can be extremely compressed, as can wireframes. 2mb or so doesn't sound unreasonable. Morrowind GotY Edition for Xbox clocked in at a measley 800mb, if I recall, and the game was obviously quite massive. I've heard Oblivion is 2 gigs or so, and a good chunk of that was dedicated to an HD sized intro video.
