Images of Sacred 2

Here is a new selection of images from the hack'n'slash Sacred 2: Fallen Angel in development for the PC and Xbox 360 platforms. They focus on the improved graphics engine which features high definition textures from its environments and characters. This title will be available in the third quarter of 2008.

If it weren't for the somewhat ametuerish looking visuals, which strangly enough weren't that bad in the original, I'd say it looks half way decent. But it juts looks too much like a free mmo v.v

It's just showing how the 360's menu looks.

well, not really, its showing the assigments of spells to buttons. they should have taken the shot before the rest of the menu and character was blured out...at least then it would be "showing off" (if you can call it that) the character models/details. instead we get a bit of text and 4 symbols...lol, not exactly the most exciting of images is it.

Sacred was fun, but you literally never played with the camera zoomed in that close!

They look like 2004 pc graphics to me...

and that is a bad think?

Not every developer can / have resources to do Crysis quality graphics. Also it looks really nice from the view it's going to be played also these aren't the best screenshot I have seen. I just hope there isn't many bugs in this game.

Also you have to remember how big the game world is in this game.

“The impressive thing about the demo was when the dev showed off the sheer size of the world. We're talking about an area that's about 27 square miles in size, full of cities and villages, woods, mountains, deserts, and more. And delve beneath the surface and there are plenty of dungeons, sewers, and caves to explore. Here's where it gets really cool: The PC version will support up to 16-player cooperative gameplay, which means that you and 15 of your friends can wander around the world at the same time. (The Xbox 360 version will support only up to four players in co-op mode.) You don't even need to stick together; you can all be spread out miles from one another. It's like a very small-scale massively multiplayer online role-playing game in that regard. Whenever you play, even if you're playing single-player, the game is always online. That means that if your friend has the game and starts playing while you're playing, he can seamlessly drop in and out of your game if you want..”

Also no loading times between areas. I say thats impressive.

alimokrane That camera simply doesnt work for a game like this... and it's why I am worried I wont like the new God of War. For fuck sake, just pull the camer back a little will ya? or at least giv me the option (2 minutes ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane I like the settting and all but BOY that camera is annoying and the combat seems like the bore that was called Ryse Son of Rome (which sucked!) (3 minutes ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane Hellblade's gameplay looks very bland: [url] (4 minutes ago)

KORNdog into black goo monstrosities that hit pretty hard. it's not ornstein and smough levels of challenge obviously, and i seem to be past it now, but easily the most unforgiving start to a souls game (33 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog and seems to have a pretty densely packed collection of tougher enemies really early on. be they red eye knights, whoever it is to the left of the shrine, the fat axe guy, regular enemies evolve (35 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog it just feels like it it doesn't ease you in as well. just throws you in at the deep end. no "trial" boss fight, where dying is almost expected. (36 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog but i've probably died more in the first 4 hours of dark souls 3 than i have in the other games combined. lol (37 minutes ago)
