Will be ineteresting to see how this turns out, its hard to tell what its like just from screen shots.

tbh it looks like poo to me. The map on the top screen looks pretty basic to say the least and while the backdrops on the lower screen aren't terrible they are far from brilliant. Also i just don't see an interesting story going on with the retarded sonic cast. I mean, Sonic is a douche, Tails is a whiny bitch, to find out when knuckles was cool you take your current age and subtract around 60 to 70 percent from it, and all the other characters are just BAD in ways i don't even want to go in to. Also they are talking animals.

Bioware rocks but i just can't understand why their talent is wasted on a shitty license like Sonic.

The only problem I can think of with this is if they make it too forgiving, which is basically a cardinal sin with any RPG, rendering any tactical sense absolutely worthless.

Other than that, it's the perfect place to make a game like this, and these graphics make Sonic and friends look rediculously awesome. Combat supposedly having Ouendan style rythm based tapping coupled with more traditional mechanics ensure that even if it IS a tad easy, it's still going to be really cool to play.

I hope it's awesome and sells enough to make Sonic Chronicles a recurring presence on the DS. With Sonic Rush, Sonic Rush Adventure and this, the platform kinda seems like a new home for the blue, exploited little guy.

Now go ahead and make Sonic Battle 2 for the DS with network/online play and stylus controls ala Ninja Gaiden and I will love you forever.

The game oozes the Mario & Luigi Style.
If it's anyting similar, and keeps the Battle Mode as fun & entertaining as that one, then it's gonna be an hell of a game.

A Paper Sonic type game on Wii would be nice if they were going to continue Sonic RPGS

I have absoloute faith in Bioware, they're yet to make a bad game.

However, Sonic seems like a horrible choice. Poor characters, and a convuluted universe and storyline.. It'll be interesting to see how they handle this.

It depends on which version of Sonic characters they're using. Since there is no Silver, yet there is Shadow, I would guess that this takes place in the Sonic Adventure universe. That would mean Sonic and Tails don't act like what you've stated. If this were to take place during the Sega Genesis/Sega Saturn universe of Sonic, then I could see what you mean.May I ask if you've watched any cartoons in your past?

Maybe I'll have to keep waiting for that quality Sonic game. Doesn't look like it's my cup of tea..the adventure characters are not cool.
Sonic unleashed really peaks my interest, but I will have to try this one out also.
