really not liking the look of this. saw the screens yesterday over at IGN, and it all looks very much like a slightly (and i mean SLIGHTLY) upgraded version of godfather 1. everything looks very empty, like your running around film sets rather then a living breathing city. in terms of these open world crime games. i'll stick with GTA and saints row. and in terms of this era of open world crime game i think mafia 2 does this thing a whole lot better. plus it looks a damn sight nicer, which is a bonus

It does look quite sterile. I'm hoping it's at least worth a play through though.

It's still quite far from release, so I'm hoping for an improvement - in almost every area. I quite liked the first one though, it added the character in the Godfather story quite well.

This looks bad, i didn't play the first Godfather, hence i cannot comment on the gameplay side of things, but i agree they shouldn't have released mediocre shots when the competitors are faring better in their press kits.

hmm... to be honest, after seeing thumbnails, the first thought that came through my head was: Scarface!

Looks pretty horrible. The environments are even worse than those of SR2.

Sure, it doesn't look very pretty, but the first Godfather game was actually pretty darn good and this looks a whole lot better than the first one so I think people should at least try this before picking on it. As they say, good gameplay > pretty graphics. That's how it was with the Godfather 1 and it looks to be the same here.
