Overall it’s looking alright and I can’t wait to play it.
Hope the story and framerate hold up well. And please, can we leave out the UE3 comments for once guys?!?
My only real concern is if they've dumbed it down so to speak, so it's more accessible to the western market than most JRPG's.
For someone that said he is not into JRPGs, if I remember right, I read an awful lot from you about them…
... he's trying to be sarcastic ... we all know how great that game would look for him if it was an exclusive for PS3 ;)
I want to believe these are women but knowing this company I doubt that.
And why would you explore the battlescreen?

as for the fanboy comment. how does that work exactly, its a multiplatform title. and it looks boring as sin on both. i mean, choices choices, endless sea of green? or endless sea of brown?...maybe you'll get lucky and get to play on the endless sea of green AND brown. seriously, the game looks about as uninteresting as they come. you'd have to have incredibly low standards or be completely desperate for a JRPGto like the look of this...so which one is it guys and gals?

The battle screens are not the prettiest so what? - That doesn’t make the game imminently bad.
The towns and fields got details. Sure they are still not as pretty as e.g. Crysis but they reached a level I can live with because I’m playing these games for other reasons like game play, story, characters and even music too.
And the look is also influenced by the design whether this is to your liking or not depends on your taste.
Bitching about the game including generic elements is pointless. Of course it has generic elements otherwise it would have become something new and no jRPG.
