Xbox 360

Genki released a bunch of images of Tokyo Xtreme Racer, which could end up being revolutionary. The graphics are a revolution for the industry, as some of the details (rear headlights, urgh) looks worse than two console generations back did. I really feel bad writing a lot of bad things about some Japanese developers as the people seems to be so kind, but they really need to shape things up.

Oh wow. I have this game for PS2....and I think it looks better than this.

They need to delay this title and start working on it harder.

Btw, we have some of the images in the Database already (and in older news), but these (most of them) are in 720p so I didn't remove them.

omg this looks awful! the only thing that looks good graphically is the menus. :P

Looking at the scenery and the tokyo roads, is getting me all hyped up about this game all over again, i played every one of them, first one being back on the snes or nes, cant really remember, but i loved every one of them, and this one will do to, since i have never felt let down once by the series...

However, i do feel, that it probably would be a whole better experience if it looked like, let's say, test drive unlimited, or 2/3th of PGR3, (remember, this is a open road game, so comparing it to PGR3 is not going to a honest comparison)...

But i will def. buy this if it's region free, and judging from that 8th pic, i think it might, or they are just fishing for a european publisher with that german and australian flag...

I hope europe get's to see it, or at least the states with a region free version.. so i can a hold of it as well...

Again, this game looks average, but to me, shutokou battle is always, and has always been about gameplay, but i agree, dont get me wrong, it could look way better...

not really impressive from the visuals but maybe i have to see it in motion to appreciate it. i'll reserve judgement til i can try it out for myself.

Looks like most Japanese developers outside of Square, Capcom, and Konami are really struggling with the next-gen hardware. I wonder what this means for PS3 support seeing as it's more expensive and tougher to develop for than Xbox 360.

Can't really remember when... but we have (most of us anyway) seen the shots where it looked like an average xbox game and nothing more, a few months later, they increased it quite a bit, and it look good like it should...

Can someone back me up here? i cant remember where i have seen those awful GRAW shots, but it could have been on this site as well..

I believe the early GRAW screenshots were the ones that had really low resolution textures. They did indeed look pretty poor; but they have nothing on these obminations!

Maybe they should start at the beginning and rebuild....

I'm talking about screenshots and movies BEFORE the game GRAW came out..

i hope this is a simillar situation, i hope these screenshots of tokyo xtreme racer are just as bad as those GRAW screenshots were back then, and that the actual game, once it's out and playing on your 360, looks way better then these "older" screenshots..
