Not bad, it would have benefited from some newer footage and showing of Japanese games such as -[eM]- Enchant Arm, FFXI, DOA4, but we get the general idea of what the console is for in the trailer.

This promo video reminds me of what I saw on that MTV show featuring the Xbox 360, since they used the concept of someoe in a room and people start appearing and having fun.

I like the video, but I dont think it will appeal to a japanese audience, it didnt show anything that they would like, except maybe Pgr3

If YOU (non-japanese) liked it, it meens they hated it. I agree that they should have put games that appeal more to the japanese gamers such as DoA4, eM and Blue Dragon.

The japanese market will be incredibly tough for the xbox. They need to get out there as much as possible and show the japanese AND the asian people why they should buy the xbox and not the PS3. I think that the 360 will sell some numbers, but i think that the PS3 is going to win the asian public when it arrives. As it did with the PS2.

There is no chance in hell that the 360 is going to sell more then ps3 in Jap. I dont even think that MS is targetting that because they know that it just is impossible unless ofcourse they buy Japan and then made PS3 illegal. MS has a better chance at reaching that "one billion" number then outselling the ps3 in japan.
What MS is hoping for and wants is around 40 percent of the japanese game market. If they have that they will be more then happy.

Spaceman: Thats what happend with the current Xbox. To few jap games and they say it sucks over there. They have to show games that they like.

In the Famitsu most wanted games there are 2 Xbox360 games. Blue Draggon and DoA4. Both made in japan. They dont care about PDZ, Oblivion or PGR3. They want japanese games. MS shouldnt sell american/european games in japan because it would just be waste of money and time. They wont buy it.

I wouldn't say don't sell US/EU games there, the problem is they need more Japanese developers and more games that appeal to the Japanese market. Japanese will buy some US/EU games, but it all depends on whether developers of these games are willing to accommodate for Japanese gamers.

They would have to make a new version of the game to satisfie the japs.

Selling to japan is fine with me. I think we should stop selling our game systems to europe as long as those wimps keep getting in the way of our war on terror. All the french and germans do is complain when we saved their asses more times than I can remember.
