Jericho : image and trailer

Probably one of the most lugubrious first person shooter awaited by gamers, Clive Barker's Jericho makes its comeback today with a single in-game screenshot and a new trailer. It looks like the Unreal Engine with the bald marine and its shiny armor, however, that's not the case : the game uses the Mercury Engine, created in-house by developer Mercury Steam.

Looks tons better than the gameplay I saw last time. I hope the final game will look like this.

Like the graphics, but the characters are really silly. Like goth bitch and preacher-man for example. I don't know though, I'll be wanting a demo before i say yay or nay.

Well, it's not even impressive.
Not everything needs to have OMGWTF great graphics. It looks decent, and the atmosphere seems very nice. I doubt there will be many games as sickening as this one (in a good way, with the gore and all).

if its a good clive barker game, then it will be awsome, barker is the master of horror...and the visuals may not be super impressive, but the art and sucjh are really cool, and the gameplay looks pretty fun

About the game

GriftGFX FFA deathmatch is pretty fun in OW even though it's totally not balanced. Great Tracer practice. (46 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog The Orville episode 3 was amazing. Very heavy topic but handled it extremely well. (58 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I wasn't really setting up any specific comparison at all. I said modern phones and many PCs. That's pretty vague. You can set whatever limits on that you want. (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Granted.. synthetic benchmarks are just that.. but in Geekbench 4 a Snapdragon 835 can outperform a Q9550.. which is definitely faster than the E6600. (2 Hours ago)

GriftGFX My personal history of personal computing goes back to 8-bit computers. I think 2017 ARM CPUs are amazing. (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @droezelke: I said E6600.. and its single core performance in synthetic benchmarks is certainly comparable. But yes. You can go back to the 80s. I didn't say anything about them being modern. (2 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @GriftGFX: no, a snapdragon 835 does not have computing power of a Q6600 (9 years old). Do you really want to go further in time to prove your statement made sense? (2 Hours ago)
