Looks like today is stunts day since this time we get this new developer diary of Just Cause 2 showing how over the top the action can be in that game.
i'm seriously shocked that this is a sequel to one of the worst games of the generation. it looks awesome. as long as it has plenty of veriety (not 5 million liberation missions that play out the same) then i'll probably give it ago, it's a rental at the very least.

Dude I totally agre with you here,I hated Just cause from the stupid main character to everything else.
But in this one if like if they injected themselves a solution of awesome,this game looks just insane man woo awesome,like Crackdown with realistic graphics and what a graphics they look stuning,I seriously think this will be a AC2 kinda of result for me hated the first loved the second =)

The vehicles rollovers looks very insane :O and that plane to plane jump OMG!!!!
As development time is a fixed thing, you have to spread your resources out. And the better graphics this has, the more vehicles you can drive, etc. the more concerns I have about all of those elements. GTA was awesome, but as a shooter? Meh. And the driving? About as good as a last generation game like FlatOut. Even a genre game like Burnout has spectacular crashes but really quite average racing mechanics--so as good as the crashes in this look, how's the driving? And climbing on cars? Awesome—but how's the climbing system? And notice they didn't actually show much of the combat from on the cars.
But if they can convince me that the core elements of this game--the combat and the movement--are as impressive as the accessory ones then this is a day one game for me because, bottom line, all of their trailers have had incredible "wow" moments.
Wow! This looks amazing! Loved the "Pin the car to the Statue" game, it looks like they've really pushed the boat out in terms of environmental interactivity. Cannot wait.
How are the graphics this good in an open world game? Incredible!
Indeed the graphics are way to good for an open-world console game.
Obviously what we saw was from the pc version in ultra HiRez with every feature maxed out.

Looks like a really fun rental.
the voice acting is terrible, but then it's suposed to be. if you expect a serious story and voice work from a game where you can zipline from bike to car to boat to plane etc, then you're going into the game expecting far too much. this game is the 'transformers: ROTF' of the game world, it looks great, has plenty of action, but the story and acting is piss poor.
