SQUARE ENIX ANNOUNCES KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX
HD ReMIX Follow-Up Set for an Exclusive PlayStation®3 System Release in 2014

LOS ANGELES (Oct. 14, 2013) – Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in the Americas, today announced at D23 Expo Japan that it has officially begun development for KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX. A follow up to the recently released KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX, the title is slated for release next year in the Americas.

Adding further depth and detail to the KINGDOM HEARTS series, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX is a fully remastered HD compilation of the PlayStation ®2 computer entertainment system title KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX and the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system title KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX. Both, previously exclusive to the Japanese market, will be available for the first time in the Americas for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. Theatrical cut-scenes from the Nintendo DS™ title KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded will also be included in the compilation.

Picking up after KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX, players will be able to continue on their adventures with Sora, Donald Duck and Goofy, and also explore the origins of the KINGDOM HEARTS series with characters Terra, Aqua and Ventus – all with gorgeous high-definition visuals and enhanced gameplay mechanics. KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX will provide fans with the chance to replay the games of the celebrated franchise, and also lead into the highly anticipated KINGDOM HEARTS III, which is set to be released on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One®, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft.

I knew it was going to happen. I'll wait for this and buy both of them collections then to prepare for KH3.

Kingdom Hearts Semi-HD 2.5. Get it right.

KORNdog The Orville episode 3 was amazing. Very heavy topic but handled it extremely well. (6 Hours ago)

GriftGFX I wasn't really setting up any specific comparison at all. I said modern phones and many PCs. That's pretty vague. You can set whatever limits on that you want. (7 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Granted.. synthetic benchmarks are just that.. but in Geekbench 4 a Snapdragon 835 can outperform a Q9550.. which is definitely faster than the E6600. (7 Hours ago)

GriftGFX My personal history of personal computing goes back to 8-bit computers. I think 2017 ARM CPUs are amazing. (8 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @droezelke: I said E6600.. and its single core performance in synthetic benchmarks is certainly comparable. But yes. You can go back to the 80s. I didn't say anything about them being modern. (8 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @GriftGFX: no, a snapdragon 835 does not have computing power of a Q6600 (9 years old). Do you really want to go further in time to prove your statement made sense? (8 Hours ago)
