Lair, now announced for August, only gets 3 new images for the Gamers Day. Update: Added a trailer, in an awesome 320x180 resolution. Thanks Sony for giving us a good idea of what this game will look like on our TVs!
I really, really want to like this game but no luck yet. Personally I find both the screens and videos "meh" and "yuk". The concept behind the game is a lot cooler than what it's turning out to be. Lair is one of the few big exclusives coming out for the PS3 this year but I can't see it turning the fate of the PS3 around looking like this.
This game really has only one problem visually. It is waaaay too contrasty. And that is really a shame 'cause it features some quite nice artdirection and execution that is just rendered invisble by the crappy lighting and stupid contrast low saturation image effects. Seems like Factor 5 wants to be Capcom (when it comes to imageeffects) but in it's effort to do so just completly overdo it.
How can factor 5 not see this?
And I have to agree, Lair (as one of the very big titles) has done nothing yet to intrique me gameplay wise nor visually. It still has some months of development so there's still a slight bit of hope that Lair can be saved. I doubt it though.

There is no way I'm gonna deny LAIR looks like shit in screenshots which is a very false consumption as it looks superb in motion.
