Let's stop loving football

Let's stop loving football

Namco released the following images of Love Football, the very first soccer game to feature leather shorts. But the crowd actually has more than one color now - it has whooping three different colors.

Not quite offensive, but definitely not pleasant.

I think they must be appealing to a different segment of the gaming market.... Not quite sure who that is, but I'm sure somewhere in the world some sick gamer is getting very excited about this.

This is another classic Namco game in the making, this and Framecity Killer will sew up the Japanese market...lets here the 360 sing. Love the normal mapped Leather shorts.PANTS

Whats going on with the spectators too? weird geometric fuzzing!!!

Weird art quaility seeing as NAmco still have the skill, look at SC3 and the a last tekken. maybe they are secretly doing somting worthwhile with the unreal 3 engine?

Sony have employed Namco to ruin XBOX!

The models in the last few screenies are a joke.. I mean they look like they're built on 20th century tech, like 1998's Half-Life 1 etc.. Ok, they look maginal better.. Still a joke though, for a 2006 Xbox 360 game..

terrible... my head hurts from looking at the screens

looks waaaay better than the previous pics, but still it isn't up even to the level of FIFA, which wasn't amazing by any means. At least it nows look Xbox 1.5, not an Xbox1 launch title.

Well with the improvement since the last batch it should look pretty good in about.... say...... five years.

Wow, does Namco really love football? They sure don't love the X360 that's for sure.

Word up. LOL. I think the faces looks painted on rather than done with polygons. I could be wrong, but they look better than Fifa.

I've been pretty harsh towards your news posts before, Manager, but leather shorts cracked me up. Kudos. :D

Edit: lol, the more I look at these screens the more bizarre they become. Look at the guy in the chair with hands behind his head. He's like "Every wednesday I put on this human mask."

About the game

What's up?
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: probably an extra smaller scale game maybe (bully 2). or it would just shave a year off a mainline GTA dev cycle. fact is they're making very detailed open worlds, it takes time. (1 minute ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog things will go digital, as much as i fight it, i can see it happening by PS6. but streaming seems like a novel way to get around BC and nothing more. (2 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog especially with the stonger focus on bigger resolutions. we can barely stream 720p with reasonable input lag, how do you expect them to do it 4k or hell, 8k? (4 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @droezelke: given there seems to be a lack of development in that area recently, with most forerunners giving up entirely. i doubt that's the future (5 minutes ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker You do have to wonder how it would have looked right now if GTAO hadn't been that insane succes. Would've we had more Rockstar games on current gen now? I think so (6 minutes ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane @droezelke: Streaming in 8k... maybe (31 minutes ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @KORNdog: I don't believe there will be a PS6. By that time I suspect it will become a streaming service. (48 minutes ago)
