Not enough dev diaries in the first Lords of Shadow. This is a welcome insight!

MO4R! M04R!

Why am I not excited for this. I really enjoyed LoS I infact still own it but maybe I feel like they've done everything they could with the game. They are their own enemies, in flawlessly delivering their vision they've left no room for expectations. That's how I feel.

Damn it we should have been playing it this year but noooo delayed!
Well i hope the delay is very worth it for next year!

I hope the game doesn't rely often in AAA™ spectacle scenes - fighting a lot of enemies on top of huge thing (titans or something similar) with shaky cam... It's not fun in the demo, it wasn't fun in GOW III.

One thing i don't like about combat is that you barely see when enemies attack, thanks to the effects from your weapons. Otherwise combat system is simple like LoS1. Nothing bad, but nothing great either.

Loved the art/graphics, it looks insanely good on 360. Platforming though is too automatic? You mostly need to hold the left stick, few places required timing jumps, but ehh wasn't fan of it.

Yeah, mostly negative first impressions.

Los was good with great environments. This one looks more darker, grittier ? 30fps locked is the limit. There are lots of detail and fixed camera looks cool but it should be smooth for action game.

This one does away with the fixed camera,it still looks sweet, those guys are good.

I just beat the demo for Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 last night, and I LOVED IT! I love the spooky presence they give Dracula, and the controls are flawless. It took me a minute to get use to it's platforming on the Titan, but once I got the hang of it, it was really fun.

I haven't heard any word on a Collector's Edition for the United States. There is a Limited Edition for the UK. It's a big coffin and little action figures. Also a snazzy steel book cover.

Hmm if no word comes i will have to get it shipped from UK.Thanks for the heads up loakum.

Yeah I read that the first game dropped below 30fps a lot. 60fps locked is not necessary I think GOW games got it perfect, it plays smoothly and looked amazing

Melmoth EA announced today that a Battlefront II story trailer for the single player campaign trailer is coming tomorrow.. nice timing (4 Hours ago)

GriftGFX And while there may be a nugget of truth in there, people are DEFINITELY jumping to conclusions. (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @Melmoth: Yea.. but what's not as obvious to people is that their PR wasn't for the benefit of consumers. It was spinning this for their shareholders. (5 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @GriftGFX: that's a pretty obvious thing he says. If visceral were doing great progress at a single player game, EA would probably just ask them to change the direction, not fire them. (7 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX And as usual.. our analysis is dreadfully misinformed anyway (taking this back to Visceral): [url] (8 Hours ago)

GriftGFX I'm not as pessimistic about where things are headed. I think a lot of stuff is better in regards to this problem vs. a decade ago. (8 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @MrWhite: Time for what? People are noticing stuff that impacts game design more than ever. That's not a new problem. Add-on content of any flavor has presented this problem through decades now. (8 Hours ago)
