4player co-op with mechs... shouldnt get much better than that

Hey, just a question: is it possible to state in the post which version of the game the screenshots come from? If I remember correctly, everything shown untill now was from the dx10 PC-version. Are these from consoles?

I think they're from the PC version, their original res is 2560x1440 :)

I never finished the first. I got bored but I am still planning on going back and playing it. I wont be getting this at the end of this year though. will get it later. Co-op is what it interests me.

Capcom sure does have some really pretty games this gen. This and Resident Evil are just amazing looking in how they mix a dark grainy look with lots of color.

I agree. I've beaten every game that I own except for Lost Planet. I was bored, and couldn't figure out why I hadn't given this game the countless hours of play time that the others received. Oh, I remember, it was a boring mix of early 'next gen' graphics and linear gameplay. Dare I say that it was originally intended to be a PS2 game that made its way over to the 360 late in its development cycle so that it could capitalize on the 360's young game library and hungry gamers looking for anything that had a leap in graphics above the previous generation of consoles. I popped the game in just a few days ago to give it another chance, and the fact that I have an ambition to beat every game that I own. It seems like a lot of people like this game, so I needed to see for myself whether I had missed out on anything. Nothing changed; it was as much of a yawn as it was the first, second, third time etc....

They keep on showing co-op, but is there actually going to be a story mode?

Maybe it's just me but I'm getting a Dead Space vibe from the MC. Got the same feeling with the new SMT game announced for DS. Weird how a western game can influence Japanese devs with its art of all things

The tech is looking great. Hopefully it will play as good as it looks, unlike the last one lol.
