Day one purchase for me. Loved the first game.

the co-op demo was a huge let down. Not a good sign..

Yeah, the demo was relly weak, IMO...

Already moved this from my ''maybe buy'' to ''rental'' list. As other people said b4 me, the demo was bad.

Wooooow, this thing is even bigger than the boss from the demo. Holy sh*** ! The game looks insane, especially in motion. The demo teased me soo bad. The explosions, the gfx, the animations (super seweet) and the game is still Lost Planet.

What exactly was bad on the demo, btw? Just because you cant see 50% of the game?

The demo was nice, showed many cool new gameplay features, new VSs, a lot of new weapons and you can fight a giant motherF**** boss (you can even go inside that cat G acrid). The demo was 4 player coop over live. What are you guys expecting from a demo?? A full version? It was one of the best demos for this year. And maybe we can expect a multiplayer demo soon cauz they did it with LP1 as well.

Of course, you have to like the gameplay. Its not that different from the first game.

And until now Capcom dont spoil the fans here like Square Enix and their countless Final Fantasy trailers where you already know almost every cool rendermovie and every little piece of story from this game.....and its not even out yet.

I know many people waiting for LP².


I cant wait for this game. The online multiplayer from the first game was nice (but too much lag for my taste) nice game modes like acrid hunter, post grab etc.

=)well yeah, teh boss from the demo. During the fight its raining and from time to time the boss dives into a big waterhole and regenerates missing legs (people have to shoot the legs to weaken the boss).
The acrids skin is some kind of rocky, too.

How was the demo bad? Maybe playing it alone wasn't the best but doing it 4 player coop was awesome.

They are obviously aiming for the slimey look but it looks more like plastic.

People thought the demo was bad because people came into the game ready to expect it to be bad.

As the game wasn't fantastic its unlikely many people would have been convinced if they didn't like the franchise already. Personally I like it, but I can't see the story being any good considering it doesn't have a main character.

possibly the worst demo i've played all year tbh, both the Ps3 version (with a few additional scenarios to play) and the 360 version. the thing just plays like ass. but then so did the first game, so expecting any sort of improvement is probably a little stupid on my part.

By contrast I loved the demo. Played through it twice with a bunch of random Japanese guys on PSN and it was loads of fun. Nobody does boss battles as well as Capcom do.

Capcom can make some damn good looking games but they've yet to impress me on any other level this gen

Yeah i really didnt like the controls on the first one. Felt weird playing it and i was expecting that capcom would change that on the 2 game.
well it was only a demo ...i will judge when the full game is released.
