The first game was fun but got old quickly. I'm curious to see what they can add to this as it does look pretty fun from the videos. I do like the style of this game, it always looks iinteresting but still worried about how dull the first demo was.

awww thought that was 4player split screen confirmed then.

Looks stunning.. but then so did the first. That co-op demo they already released of it was rubbish though and put off myself, and i dare say alot of others, from being interested in picking this up. These new vids go some way to correcting that...

agreed I thought the demo was completely shite, but these vids looks like great fun!

I had a ball with the demo and understood that it was just that... a demo... looking forward to this one. zero day buy for me.

Good thing I was a member at Capcom Community long time ago, I just redeemed the PS3 LP2 MP demo code for tomorrow.

I played LP1 on 360 quite frequently, but for some reason it felt boring after a while with everyone running around with VS weapons in tight corners (which is BS) considering they are mostly one-hit-kills, two tops.

I see there is no difference here going by the videos...but I hope there is more to the MP features in this one to make me enjoy it. I guess the demo will give me a sneak peak :)

Is anyone else reminded of Gunvalkyrie from the Dreamcast with this game? Somehow about how the characters move and their design are so similar

I'm pretty excited about this though. Hopefully they make it challenging and a decent length.
I already know it plays great from what I tasted at PAX East.

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @KORNdog: Still very different. More like Diablo but the "game feel" is not as polished. Systems are more well designed, but I have to give it to Diablo when it comes to fit and finish. (3 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @GriftGFX: like divinity? Better or worse? Might be one i dust off the xbox for. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX The economy is unique and will probably seem strange to new players.. but every system is cleverly tied together in PoE. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX And yes.. the passive skill tree is pretty insane. It has a healthy mix of rigid decision making in its passive tree and flexibility in the active skill system. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Path of Exile is an endlessly playable action RPG and Pillars of Eternity is a turn-based single player game w/ a party system. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX No they are not.. they are both RPGs and they both have isometric cameras but that's where the similarities end. (4 Hours ago)
  • Tiz
Tiz I always confuse the PoE abbreviation with Pillars of Eternity. Are they even the same type of game? (4 Hours ago)
