me either...

would be nice if instead of charging 5 bucks for 2 maps, they would actually offer something like 5 maps for 5 bucks or better yet free.

For the longest time, the pc gaming community has had free maps by the dozens and we as 360 users get bent at every chance these developers get.

And after that geometry wars story, I kinda wonder if ms pushes pricing on the devs and publishers.

You just wait... in 10 years, all the suckers that ponyed up with money now for 2 maps, are going to be complaining that they have to buy games by the texture and wireframe.

Wow the map "Trial Point" has really gone from snow/blizzards to more realistic environment.

Wow these maps look amazing. I know some of the backgrounds are just textures in the first one but the design is really well done. Capcom are awesome.

I heard "Trial Point" map is based on Capcom Osaka building and its environments.
Very cool, gonna sneak into ex-clover dev rooms. :)

Year, this city definitely looks like Osaka.

You guys are missing out something special. You need to play Lost Planet.
For the casual player Lost Planet can be quite a mouthful as some of the bossbattles are quite hard. But there's so much cool stuff in LostPlanet that every gamer really owe it to themselves to get and play it.
I would rank LostPlanet up there with GearsofWar as one of THE games to get for X360. I actually enjoyed this far more than Gears.

I have this out as a rental too..I should actually play it. Have barely touched it..hell, have barely touched my consoles for about a month. I think I'll start this and Crackdown back up this week.

Wow, the lighting and shadows in Trial Point look great.

I think this just jumped up 3 places on my 'Must get' list.

Yeah this game truly is a gem, I've been playing single player mostly but I really should give multiplayer more of a chance.

Maps look fantastic, but I do wish they were free (hell who doesn't)...

EDIT: oh yeah the publisher wouldn't want them to be free ^.^ how silly of me!

About the game

What's up?
  • KORNdog
KORNdog Not liking the prey demo at all. Combat is garbage and the music is friggin weird. Goes all crazy for no reason, then just ends in the middle of combat. Looks pretty shite too. I'm so disapointed (35 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite They'll have some dickhead on stage waffling tech babble in our ears about how native it's 4k is, and a staged gameplay demo and WIP trailers. (3 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite They literally have to show amazing final products, no bullshit, ready to roll, no delays, as you see it, day one. That isn't happening (3 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite we all know that showing and promising stuff isn't the same as actually delivering, and from past experiences from no matter who, it never turns out that way (3 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite @KORNdog: I'll bet they will have an impressive E3 due to the buzz of the new hardware, however... (3 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog But every chance of introducing that variety they either drop, cancel or don't follow through with improved sequels. E3 needs to be amazing from them. (5 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog Before we get them. They need variety to bring in new people. Because forza and halo aren't going to do that (5 Hours ago)
