We told you about it yesterday, Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago will be available as exclusive downloadable content on the Xbox 360 version and the PC version of Lost Planet 2. Here is a trailer to prove it all, along with another video shwoing Pirates on Speeder VSs facing a giant land cruiser.

Wow, Although I lovedthe first Lost planet, this one was a bit below my radar..
That Pirates vs Land Cruiser video was pretty amazing..
Looks like they turned the "awesome-meter" up to 20 on this one....

i really think this is a cool idea, similar to how uncharted is adding infamous/resistance and killzone characters into their multiplayer. sadly this isnt going to get me to buy lost planet 2 since the demo was terrible.

So I'm assuming that with the next Gears of War title should crossover with Lost Planet to be fair. They just gave away the surprise that may still be a surprise in the future. Crossovers are beyond cool. The comics do it all the time, and it works.

Why? Marcus and Dom are memorable characters. I cannot point to one LP1 character that was memorable nor can I point to any LP2 characters since none were announced.

Yeah, awesome though. I like cameos a lot. It's one of those things that I don't need to be explained( because you really can't explain it and if you try it just comes off as lame)...

That was pretty impressive. I'm glad this looks to be everything the original was and then 1000% more. Personally I don't care much to other game characters in LP2, but on the other hand I don't really mind it either. I'm just in it for the mindless fun ride I truly hope it will be.

It's kind of like... having a F10 pilot around a bunch of Samurai... isn't it?
The only way this could make less sense to me is if instead of the two main characters it were a Locust you could play as, actually that would be sweeeeet...
