The main character is still customisable right? Kinda silly having him front and centre of the box art.
Personally I would have emphasised the galaxy roaming aspect with the star chart and Normandy as the main images, then have the two main sidekicks smaller and a silhouette representing your own character. Give it a sense of scale.
i'm not the biggest fan of the orange glow behind the main character, i would have preferred it to be tinted blue like the rest of the background, almost hurts my eyes =P. Oh well.
And lastly I liked the regular White text with blue lining around it, I'm not a big fan of the Gold and fade out on the text blah.
Maybe i'm being too critical but I do like the background, with all your teammates and creatures along with the spaceships on the sides and they eyes make it more of a serious game. Looks decent on my opinon =D

You read my mind! Absolutely the orange bit looks out of place.
Don't like it to be honest. Something more simple a la Crazy Taxi, Final Fantasy etc was needed for this game. I think this may just be for Americans and they may change it slightly for the Euro audience.
