I have the game and ive been surprised by hom fun it is. Sure its no god of war or NG but its pretty solid and has kickass gore.

I don't know I mean it does look unimpressive. I love Conan and all, but they need some help.

I also have it, expecting it to be average, i was totally suprised. Sure, its got nothing on God of War and DMC4, but still, some of the boss fights have been incredibly fun and challenging, aswell as the powerups you gain later on, the game really does start kicking ass and becoming increasingly difficult but fun the whole time. Just don't judge it from the video's.. =/

IMO this is much better than God of War. Personally God of War is overrated garbage but that's my opinion. This game is fun and is surprisingly deep unlike that shallow crap that is God of War. It's not NG or DMC deep thou. It's not DMC or NG but this game turned out to be much better than what I thought it was going to be.

Any game of this genre will be considered as taking stuff from better games released before hand, its the same as any MMORPG coming out now, it will always be seen as taking things from WoW.. its just the genre it is, things that worked in God of War will always be used in other similar games for the fact they know people like it :)

It's an enjoyable game. Worth a rental probably. It doesn't have great graphics or superb high production value but, it is what it set out to be - a good action adventure game.

I've got to agree with everyone else, I've got it too, and I absolutely love it! I've been waiting for a mindless hack-em-up for ages, and Conan does that very well. The many ways of killing your foes are quite comedic at times, and the inclusion of busty, half naked maidens is always a winner! ;)

Certainly seems to have more depth and replay value than TMNT, which I finished 1000/1000GS in less than 4 hours.. :( (Still, it was fun while it lasted!)

Maybe you should play the game first. The only thing that it takes from GOW is the setting and if anyone knew anything about Conan, they would know that GOW took the setting from that. The combat in the game is nothing like GOW, its much deeper. The combat in GOW is one reason why I couldn't stand the game and the fact that Kratos looked like a Mortal Kombat reject. It was shallow and non-existance, I could beat the game by just hitting one button over and over again. Conan is nothing like that actually.

A slow God of War? Looks average at best.

Since i agree with Rotties views on God of War i'm really looking forward to getting my hands on this game. I mean, god of war isn't a bad game as such, but it's not a brilliant ACTION game in my opinion.

So my hype for this is still rising. I just wish it would release here...like, NOW. Maybe i'll import it from the UK since the release seems to be 2 weeks away for sweden :P

I have this game and i love it. Reminds me alot of SPARTAN: TOTAL WARRIOR which i loved to bits.

i agree, i find it shocking someone would rate this over GoW...lol, kinda strange, unless rottie lives in a parallel dimention where good games are crap and crap games are good...that must be it.

If that was my way of thinking then this game would be on the same level with DMC and NG which it's not. I haven't played any action game that is better than NG and DMC1 & 3. On the other hand this game is better than DMC2 which I personally thought was lame.
