I quite enjoyed the Spec Ops stuff in MW2, so I'm sure I'd find this fun. However, the shooting gallery-style gunplay of CoD games along with the run of the mill AI and lack of any kind of decent physics will keep it from being outstanding.

I like how they are really pimping this mode out.

There is something about MW3 that just makes it seem really dated though, I can't quite put my finger on it.

The sound design is pretty lack luster, and the animations seem really... papery. Lighting as well I guess it pretty flat.

I guess I am just over it. Still, I'll get it once the price drops.

Looking good, was not going to both with COD this year but loving the locations it's set in, day 1 i reckon now.

UUH they changed the colour of the kill score pop up from yellow to green. these kind of innovations is what makes this franchise so good

While I'm not too sure how good this looks really, I am certainly glad that the whole horde mode has caught on so much and I really hope more and more shooters start putting time into this mode as I find it as fun, if not more fun than multiplayer if given a good group of friends to play along with.

Lets hope they find a way to keep this mode feeling fresh somehow.

Stop blaiming guys, This is just awesome and this is all the fun I can get only from MW3 cheers :D

CoD is my guilty pleasure in gaming, only modern war shooter I can play and enjoy, I will definitely buy this one, can't wait!

Remove majority of killstreaks, add online multiplayer split-screen (like Black Ops) and its a win IMO!

What you have to rem is, why should they? it will make them no more money than it will like this.
If they can milk it like this for as long as possible, when it eventually runs dry..soon, all they have to do is upgrade to a new engine and bang.. money come roling back in

Looks rather fun, I'm afraid me and my friend will get owned though when the round will start spawning Juggernauts. I hated those things in MW2.

This game may top black ops inspite of getting competition from BF3. But I hope people buy other games as well lol

Bit harsh; FIFA actually makes considerable improvements each year that make it a worthy investment. When you play the newest FIFA it's almost impossible to go back to an older, inferior version - speaking from experience.

This just looks exactly the same though, with the exception of some different coloured fonts now.

Guess I'm not their target demographic for WM because this in no way gets me excited.

No, Seth, I will not buy it, as I haven't any MW game.

Bunch of whiners (don't buy it then chaps) as usual but it looks great to me and the engine has yet to be something I feel even remotely painful to look at (at least in the IW made titles). Framerate is my most important priority in any game especially shooters and this is one of the few that does not settle for 30 FPS or lower, instead pushing for 60.

Also, unless they are flat out lying the devs have stated they have made numerous improvements to the engine but I'll be honest I don't really give a shit if it looks as good as MW2. The actual core gameplay is so tightly refined and I have yet to see it improved upon by any rival game, good though many of them are. Killzone...too fucking sluggish, Crysis 2...too fucking buggy and choppy, BF BC2...too framey and floaty.

There is a reason COD is such a strong brand and a huge part of that is that they are simply very well made games in every area. I will still check out BF3 but at this point the campaign looks equally scripted and even less original in terms of setting...the middle east? again? that's thinking outside the fucking box if ever I saw outside the box thinking.

A "haters gonna hate" would have been better.

huh? I am not sure what you mean by framey, but BC2 is not floaty, it's beefy and pretty clunky. Call of Duty is floaty if anything.Well firstly it's not solely set in the middle east. Secondly the unoriginal setting is delivered in such a way that does, to me, feel unique and new.

But I mean really, you're talking down BF3 for being unoriginal? I mean if you think MW3 looks more exciting then great!

For me BF3 is delivering as fresh an experience as you can get from the modern military shooter genre. It's clearly blowing the cap off in terms of sound design and visual aesthetics.

Are there people in here seriously trying to knock anything (and I mean anything) that Bad Company 2 does over what the entire COD series does? That's just pure silly talk. Bad Company 2 absolutely stomps everything the COD series has going for it into the dirt. It literally does every single aspect in the game better. That is not even up for a debate.

Only good thing I can say about BC2 campaign that is good is thje dialogues and the music lol.
