They've all had stories. Even COD has a story, although I've played the last 5 and couldn't tell you any of them, because they just don't matter. It's just about running from big spectacle to spectacle, jargon-jargon, spectacle, snap-to ironsights, spectacle, done.

Why is it that MOH:AA is still the best game in this whole series?? What is it about that game that made it so god damn good? Why can't they reproduce that formula again? Good material to write a paper on.

I will say though that I enjoyed the last MOH more than any COD game since COD2. I do think this will be a good game but I don't need all this silly story shit, i want some gameplay, memorable characters with personality, and interesting gameplay moments... along with sensible design and polish of course.

But on the other hand I think, that creating a memorable character with personality requires a little background STORY for that character. :-) Or not?

Because the team behind MOH:AA left EA and joined Activision to make the first COD. And the first COD is for me the real sequel to MOH:AA

So if this video "shows single player gameplay" like the title states, I am to assume the entire single player is one long cutscene that we watch? I know cutscenes look all fancy and hollywood-y, but how about some actual gameplay so we can see how it really plays?
