Ah sweet music for my ears. The Wii sorely needs proper quality games made to high or even normal industry standards. I hope Capcom cashes in big time with this one and undoubtedly they will.

It seems obvious to me this is another instance of Sony letting an IP slip through their fingers because they're unwilling to make deals with 3rd parties and secure exclusives.

The Monster Hunter games were really boosting PSP in Japan...

will be interesting to see how they present the series on the Wii now.not officially you can't. You have to go out and buy a WiFi Max adapter, then go through a hassle setting the damn thing up before you can play online with others.

The MH series on PS2 has an online mode though.

BS, yet again CAPCOM makes promises to PS3 owners only to turn around and retract them once money is an issue ( Nintendo moneyhatted this one..usually a M$ tactic.) I will be renting DMC4 and RE5, Capcom will never see a dime come from me directly ..and i wish people will quit blaming Sony, they're playing the game the way they always have, if Capcom wants to be shortsighted and not see the potential of dev for the ps3, screw'em. and kill that "bigger install base nonsense, 80% of the people who own wii would rather play Wii Sports 3 before they'd even look at a MH3..the cost effective thing to do? PS2 AND Wii..its only an exclusive because Capcom loves fast money up front. M$ has spoiled them after all!

What the hell are you talking about. Please name all the games that they would have paid money for to 3rd party developers to stop them coming out on other platforms. Come on I want to see what games you say so you can be shot down.

Whatever games people would end up listing would likely be denied by you as a moneyhat regardless as there likely wouldn't be sufficient enough evidence to support their claims or if there was nobody has the time to look for it. At the same time you are doing no different yourself by making assumptions as to what games were moneyhatted from what games weren't and you don't have sufficient evidence to back up your claims either. Atleast no more than what others could show to claim Sony also moneyhats titles.

Just live with it. If you care about the game at all you'll get it for the console it's going to release for or is it not a game you really wanted and are simply sour it didn't stay a PS3 exclusive?

Good, I'm glad this hit the Wii. I'm a big disappointed that it's not using the beautiful Framework engine that their other 360/PS3 games are using, but I'll be just fine with the improvements they'll no doubt make over the PS2 version of the game. Capcom knows how to push systems to the edge, and if you don't believe it pick up Monster Hunter Freedom 1 and 2 on the PSP; it's an absolutely incredible game that is easily the best looking on the system.

Wow once in a blue moon Optimus makes sense, who would have thunk it :PWell ain't you a clever boy, if everyone did this Capcom would have no reason to support the PS3 at all.

But if you happy to cut off yout nose to spite your face then go for it, I think all those RE and DMC PS3 fans will somehow think differently.

I'm pretty turned off by this decision personally. A crazy online MH game for PS3 would have been far more interesting. If this doesn't have online gameplay, I'll pass. It's not so simple as a game moving from one platform to another when it comes to a game being designed for the Wii.

Oh well. There's always the online version of MH2 for PC. Not that it will ever be localized.
