Monster Madness trailer

Monster Madness trailer

It's been a long time since we wrote anything about Monster Madness, but it's finally back and this time we finally get to see the Xbox 360 in action. The trailer presents mostly the Xbox Live modes of this physics-heavy game, and it looks like a lot of fun.

Last I heard this game's using UE3 now. It actually looks a lot better than what I would expect for this type of game. Very nice lookin'!

Looks unique, with that kind of physics i'm sure the replay value's high.

This could either be the best XBLA game ever, or the worst 360 game ever.

Streaming is being really slow...

screens and videos do not give this justice visually, i love all the games like baldurs gate and the hunter games, so this is a MUST have for me ... and live :D WOOT!

NOT xbox live arcafde, this is full retail, and looks worth every penny, i wanted this to be a launch title :(

awesome, finally a game that makes sense to invite friends over to play. I wish the 360 had more 4 player co-op/deathmatch type games (on the same screen).

this looks like the ultimate party game.

This is starting to look quite nice. As said earlier Im sure it would be a better suited as a XBLA title..

This can't be an XBL game as it stands now because there is no way it could meet the 50mb requirement.

This game uses at the min 700 to 800 megs of storge space.

Wow, from a topdown shooter to a semi topdown, third person party game :D. This one looks like alot of fun.

@Threesixty:Actually it can be lol at the moment there is a company trying to do that. Forgot what game it was. Give me a sec to look it up ;).

http://www.roboblitz.com/site.html I thought this was it. It used the Unreal 3 Engine ;) and the GFX aren't half bad :).

I'm not overly interested, but it's nice to see something different. Worth a rent for me.
Commented on 2006-10-22 15:45:32
Looks like great fun, and I agree that a rent is likely the best option.
Commented on 2006-10-22 16:37:35
Looks fun, I highly doubt its going to be an XBLA game, but if its £39.99 forget me buying this :)
Commented on 2006-10-22 16:48:34
It won't ;). I just know there are companies out there who could do that with 50mb ;).

What's up?
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer oh yea that, Dragon Age was preloading at the time (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Maybe.. it's different for pre-loaded stuff too. (3 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (3 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (3 Hours ago)
