MX vs ATV Alive may not be the most highly-anticipated title coming out in May, but since we got a copy of the game with THQ, we gave it a try. Not everything is perfect, far from it, and there are clearly flaws in the way it is designed (no careeer mode, no single player championship, few tracks - especially when you start the game and have to wait a few hours to unlock new ones). However, the gameplay turns out to be pretty interesting and the graphics are more than ok for a $40 title. Add to that the local and online multiplayer features, and you have a pretty decent title in the end. It is even probably the best choice in the genre, mainly because it is a lot more realistic than the likes of Pure and Nail'd. We have prepared a big bunch of videos so you can see what to expect, so enjoy!
Watch out though, the centurion will make you toss your computer out the window. Borked af :P (1 minute ago)
Still thousands of concurrent players though and plenty of viable matches. (9 minutes ago)
@Tiz: I haven't been playing it much but I am probably going to start digging into the new S2 content soon. The PC version is also still kicking but not with the massive numbers it launched with. (10 minutes ago)
Season 2 just started and the new characters are awesome. I haven't actually played them yet (launched in season pass) but they look great. (10 minutes ago)
@GriftGFX: Got that on the backburner. How did you find For Honor after a while? Did it hold your interest? (14 minutes ago)
@Tiz: They're very different games but if you're interested in weapon-based-3D-fighters than you should really try For Honor. (22 minutes ago)
Well watching that was probably more fun than playing the ARMS test anyway. (23 minutes ago)
