I agree, even with perfectly working eyesight, you wouldn't recognise any of them...... wait oh yeah you would.......... with squinting eyes too.

It really could have done with a uniform art style. Make them all cutesy if they had to, just make them look like they're from the same game. I mean, sure, you retain the silhouette of the characters this way, but man is it weird seeing kratos, looking like he did in GOW3 fighting fat princess.

Cool characters tho. Nariko is an awesome character imo. And maybe sir daniels inclusion means a sequel? Doubt it, but a man can hope.

Sir Fortesque is really welcomed surprise,and it would be more then awesome if there would be something in the works..a new new Medievil i would love as well :)

Probably the only thing that interests me about this game is that they are using a lot of third-party characters as well. Because let's be honest, Sony's mascot characters are not all that interesting.

I just wish they weren't using the DmC Dante. Hopefully he has an alternate costume of old Dante.

Curious to see how this sells or doesn't in fact. Nintendo does this thing so well because they have a knack for knowing their product and what it needs to be.The Nintendo universe can be a much more shared one and that made Smash bros possible. Sony it must be said aren't consistent in this respect


This sort of thing could have worked for Sony back when they didn't need to anyway, but now people don't recognise exactly what Sony stands for exactly these days, this comes off as almost feeling like as if fans literally made it

Big fan of most Nintendo franchises but never liked Smash brothers. Perhaps you have to be very much into Nintendo beyond just liking them a lot to truly enjoy the game. It makes me wonder if the majority of Sony fans just wont care for this

That still managed to sell more then the game they released on both platforms...i loved that. Put a right grin on my face. They bitched about not even breaking even with heavenly sword (a game released when the PS3's install base was tiny)...blamed it on being exclusive, then did infinately worse across 2 platforms entire install bases (which where over 100 million combined) hahahaha. Wonder how well DMC will do?

100% agree. A unified art style would have gone a long way, but I get the feeling that there is NO art director, or even talent involved. It's so mish-mash that it looks terrible. Not to mention that the whoever put the video together really needs to learn about contrast.

This game is fugly... But I love Nariko....

I bought it and it's actually a really good/fun game and feels surprisingly different to God of War as it's combat is more timing based, but it's unfortunately too short.

For me is that still best game on the PS3 a one of the best games of all times.

Great news. Heavenly Sword was the first game that proved to me next gen had arrived, so Nariko has a special place in my heart..

Nariko, well good, the rest is crap. The fact that the PS3 needs new ideas have to say is not necessary now.

it isn't a new idea. it's SSB with sony characters. seems like sony is just ticking a box tbh. a box that isn't there and isn't needed. but then i hate SSB so i'm not all that bothered by this.
