Electronic Arts released this video of Need For Speed ProStreet showcasing the excellent looking smoke effect of the game. Let's just hope it will really look like that ingame!
The smoke's physics are fair.. Wait.. isn't smoke supposed to gray ?
Aside from that, I still don't see a major breakthrough in term of gameplay compared to NFS Carbon.
I still dont see any gameplay at all...
but the smoke looks nice, its white color is a bit too bright though smoke doesnt always need to be gray or black.
i think tyer smoke is more of a white color like this
but i dont like the animation the way it goes round the wheel
hard to explain, but it deffo looks no where as good as that CGI trailer they released not too long ago
If you can wheelspin and stuff to blind people behind you it could make for an interesting new gameplay mechanic. Although it's yet another EA trailer that has more time spent on logo screens and copyright warnings than footage.

anyway, this game definitely looks great but i think the smoke & dust of NASCAR08 already look better when about donut turn.
Whle this game actually looks awesome from the vids I've seen, and looks like it's going back to the roots that made NFS:HP2 on PS2 the best NFS game ever, I really don't understand why EA is hyping their smoke effects like it's the next coming of god or something.
