Nice to see this dev getting a good cycle down. They did a Dark Souls 2 Definitive in 2014, Bloodborne in 2015 and now Dark Souls 3 in 2016. New Armoured Core in 2017 perhaps?

And yet some devs have nothing to show so far this gen such as Santa Monica Studios. Not even a crappy announcement trailer of a new game with ZERO ingame OR CG footage.

You can almost feel corporate control over this trailer. Use some pretentious hipster song for the trailer! IT SELLS WELL!!!!!

They've done this shit since Dark Souls 1 though. It's not new. Fortunately, not much to do with teh actual games.

I don't mind the song as such, it just has fuckall to do with Dark Souls. Doesn't convey the feeling of the game AT ALL.

I was going to type the same thing. The song just does not fit well, it's supposed to be a dark and depressing mood.

Weird music choice. But an ok trailer showing the same stuff we've come to expect from the series. I think i'm going to skip this one though. I'm sure it'll be great, even if the last one wasn't. But i think this souls template has run a little thin for me.

Nah, i can sort of agree that Souls is overrated. Not because it's bad, but because most bumbling idiots playing the game never get in to it enough to understand why it's great, and they still praise it like crazy. Or they praise the game based on the name, hence we get a higher meta score on Dark Souls 2 than 1, in spite of 2 being a worse game in almost every way.

Still, Dark Souls is, in my opinion, hands down one of the best game of last gen, in spite of it's flaws.
